Dam those potholes, managed to bend one of the front 18 inch alloys. Anyone got any ideas of the cost of replacement?

Heated washer nozzles

Thanks guys, unfortunately I think the water is frozen between the nozzles and the bottle as the bottle is free of ice. Really looking forward to a 5 hour journey home without screenwash! -
Despite lots of screenwash the windscreen washers are frozen. Has anybody got any ideas how to defrost them?

Got my Superb 4x4 combi and I can breeze through 8 inches of snow on even steep hills on my Conti winter tyres, it is incredible how different it is. My wife also has a Yeti 4x4 on summer Dunlops and whilst it is a dramatic improvement on front wheel drive you are still at risk when turning or braking. I will not have a winter without winter tyres now.

Got conti ts810 s winter tyres fitted to my 18 inch wheels two weeks ago at Kwik fit, not bad price wise and quiet on dry roads. Used them in Yorkshire last week in the Pennines with 7 inches of snow and they were superb. Not a slipped wheel even up a one in three road, amazing. They give you so much confidence.

I got Conti ts810 sport winter tyres fitted two weeks ago and the difference is staggering, not a slipped wheel on 7 inches of snow up a one in three, and the cabin noise is no worse. Well worth the £110 per corner.

Fitted Continental T 810s winter tyres on 18 inch alloys by Kwik Fit. Were a bit noisier to start with but now fine. Regularly driving big miles and best in West Yorkshire and noticed better grip early in the morning.

Pretty good considering that car had normal road tyres that my wifes has!!

I have just noticed that both the front fog lights that also act as cornering lights seem to come when I put the car in reverse. They work perfectly well when I go forward and just one lights depending on which way I turn. Can someone confirm whether this is right or not. I am concerned I have a fault of some kind. Thanks. Simon

Brilliant car, refined, well equiped, returning 42-46 mpg and watch the envious looks this winter.

My iPhone 3G has the latest 4.02 firmware, so it is either my phone is goosed or the car is. I have just updated to the 4.1 firmware this morning and give it another go. I am wondering whether there is an issue with the earlier 3G phone as those who seem to connect are 3Gs and iphone 4! Anyone successfully connected an original iphone 3G? -

My car is build week 29 so has the updated unit that has HFP. It connects to my colleagues phone but not mine it is driving me wild. I also tried an alternative route. I connected a Nokia with rSAP, then went in the menu to make the car visible blutooth wise and then disconnected the Nokia and searched for devices. It picked up the car but only as a media player and then did not work. I wonder whether it has something to do with the firmware updates you get from Apple as mine is bang up to date where as my colleagues has never been update. AAaaaaargh. -
