  1. Was done using a Manga novel, waterproof glue, had to find the right combination of materials to stop reactions, at first the glue was reacting with the lacquer which caused it to unstick etc. Managed to get a good balance but after a while in the bad weather it just couldn't keep up. Was going to re paint the wheels and go back to normal but decided on a new set.
  2. Fair enough, however found no issues when being used
  3. I am going to double check on the tyres this evening and get any extra details I can find
  4. Nope, they fitted straight on, used the wheels nuts that came with the standard fabia vrs alloys
  5. The decopage has faded and peeled in areas now Centre cap locking nuts and tool Flat centre cap 3 our of the 4 tyres are in this condition, quite a bit of tread left One of them is still usable for good few miles, but will be one of the first to be replaced, probably another thousand miles or so
  6. As title states, for sale are a set of 4 16" Borbet A alloys with 5x100 fitement, I believe they are 7.5j all around and sit nicely just inside the arch. They have come off a Fabia Vrs mk1. They need blasting down and repainting as they were part of a project to "Decopage" them, turned out nice but the effect didn't last long and now looks a bit scruffy. Originally Red. All the wheels have decent tyres on and can be used straight away but I am sure you will want them blasting down and respraying first. They come with the flat Borbet centre caps. I will post pics up later but if your looking for a set of Borbet A I am sure you know what they look like and these need blasting anyway so once you are done they will look different to the picture. One of the alloys has had a crack repaired, about 3cm, it was done properly by a wheel shop and has been balanced fine. £300 no offers as priced to sell. Based in Nottingham
  7. Fossil 2564 Men's Watch Leather strap Blue face glass Full working order Battery not included The strap is worn but still in good condition to wear, the glass has a few scratches but mainly on the edges Comes Complete with metal case £50 (£2.00 postage)
  8. I would say clean them up and take a new picture, not very appealing in that condition for that price
  9. Common fault of leaking doors, I believe there are some threads on here for possible solutions
  10. In the morning, check the coolant level, if its low unscrew the cap and check if you hear a "hiss" sound like opening a bottle of cola. If you hear it then there is a problem as there shouldn't be any pressure in there at cold, It could just need a bleed of air, or it could be that the headgasket has a seal broken,
  11. But maybe someone wants all those mods without having to spend the money to get them fitted, some of them aren't cheap either, I know you're not going to get your money back on mods but its still a fair price for mileage/parts/service it has had, also the guy is open to offers so it might work to someone's favour
  12. I expected it to be quite large, but wasn't that bad, dimensions are 100x63x23mm probably as tall and wide as a mid range smart phone, obviously it is a thicker however

  14. Best thing to do, go to eBay and check out the sold listings, as well as checking out some private listings on Auto Trader for similar specs. Otherwise what your doing is asking someone else to do this research for you
  15. Save the money and get AP, had both and the ride is horrible on JOM
  16. Can get some good power out of the 1.9 pd, and is lighter then the 2.0 counterpart. Might end up coming down to what your prefer to drive if you try them both, personally prefer the 1.9
  17. If it is the BLT hesitation, its a gasket on the EGR valve that has a standard 25mm hole on it, you will need to pick up the 9mm replacement. its a genuine VW part, I think the part number is S028131547B , costs a couple of quid
