It should have no problem they are basically the same car exhaust channels will be the same too, just different body kit! You need to make sure it mates up to your downpipe though or else you'll need an adapter clamp.

Probably be one organised for some time in the summer. Even try organising it around one of the VAG shows

So it been a pretty long time since I updated this. So story so far since I left off. The head gasket was lifting so new gasket and pd150 head bolts. New solid flywheel and clutch Then after fixing the head gasket found a leak in the intercooler and then a few days later this arrived! It is only slightly bigger! That took a lot of persuasion with my fixing hammer and angle grinder to fit. But now it fits snuggley hidden out of sight. Got some BC coilovers so I could lower it a bit to suit the new wheels Then a little interior mod was my R32 steering wheel. That's pretty much her for now. Low on money as always so I'll probably be another while updating this. Here is some fairly up to date pictures just cause.

I'd hold off till then sounds like one of the billet connectors is worn. They are not very good connections from factory let alone 5+ years later!

Is the pipe work all still original?

If it is just a whistle when it is spooling up its relatively normal. If it is like a screeching noise and If you fitted the turbo yourself make sure all bolts on the inlet manifold and exhaust manifold are tight. Could also be a blown gasket.

New wheels fitted today! Fronts are 195/40/17 8.5J ET30 Rears are 205/40/17 8.5J ET30 2.5" Radnox lips all round. They came gold don't know what I think of them yet.

Looking for a mk1 estate 4x4 in red or black if any one knows of any to import to Ireland? Thought this would be the best section to ask but if I'm wrong please move!

The immob is in the clocks is it not? Which means i wouldn't have to change anything in that area if I didn't change them no? The s3 dash wouldnt line up with the door cards and I'm not a big fan of the s3 dash anyway! I'm really surprised this hasn't been done before!

The clocks wouldnt fit but I don't think I'd need to replace them as both are 1.8t petrol.

I say the full engine swap would just be easier. With the inlet manifold being on the correct side to allow me to just use the twincooler but a fmic would probably be a better option!

Thats what I'm talking about doing. taking everything from the S3 (Engine, Gearbox, ECU, Shafts, wishbones, rack, etc etc) Was wondering is it as straight forward as I'm thinking as both are 1.8t.

I'm wanting to get back into a mk1 Octavia as I miss mine something terrible and had a idea but I cant seem to find anyone that has done it yet! Say I had an S3 that had been damaged but all running gear perfect! Would it be possible to do a like for like swap into a 4x4 Octavia? I understand that they are pretty much the same chassis and that it should be a straight forward enough swap. But I love the idea of a 4x4 estate with S3 potential!

Haha I don't think the guys in the NCT knows how to get them to work. The NCT doesn't bother me though I have two years on it! I would just like them to work! Going to have a look see if I can get some extra pipe work to change the direction. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

Id prefer to have them working! :P I may try run the piping downwards under the crash bar then back up to avoid getting in the way.

I recently fitted a SS FMIC to the Fabia but one problem I've come across is that the top pipe is in the way of the Headlight washer on the driver side and ive since had to delete it. I would prefer if it was there even though i dont use it. Has anyone else come across this situation and what was your solution?

Blocked radiator?

Anyone have a part number for the black one with the sun roof switch?
