Hi thanks for replying. Yes I can set the temperature to anything, turn the fan speed to anything but no blowing (Air flow). I have listened really hard and there is no sound of any fan turning even very low. So I am sure it is not even turning. It only does it first thing in the morning. the last two mornings and it has been cold so I but it down to temperature. But could quite easily be a loose cable. I will book it into the garage for them to have a look in the new year. I really hope they don't remove the dash as it will never be the same again.

Hi Andy I had a Superb Combi and had this fitted with out the side extensions. So I have had 4 years of use fitting and removing for only £50 via link, or £70 from Halfords. It very strong and there is no way a dog can get through, It will give another 4 years of use and will transfer to another vehicle very easy. I hope this helps. Oh the guard is metal and coated so will not rust in a damp shed. also the clamps are strong plastic with metal bolts inside so will not mark.

Heater Problems? I have recently changed my 4 year old Superb for a brand new one. I received my new Superb Est 2.0lt 140 SE on the 27th November 2014. So it's not very old (1 month) and I have only done 1660 miles. The fan does not operate the same as my last Superb, which was the same model and spec other than a few upgrades on this car. 10 speaker sound system, tinted windows and auto parcel shelf. Any way. Yesterday it was a cold morning. So I went out to warm the car up and clear the windows. I turned on the engine, and set the rear window to on. also turned up the temp to max heat (both sides as duel was turned off). also turn on the heated wing mirrors. But there was no fan blowing! unlike there has been before on my old car or this car when it's been icy, and when turning the heater to max cold, hot or anywhere in-between you can hear the vents changing behind the dash but no FAN was blowing anything, no air flow. I checked the fuse and that was ok. I left the car for about 15 mins turning it on and off a couple of times, but could not get the fan to blow any air at all. So I set out on my journey with windows open to keep the windscreen clear from our hot breath, it was a freezing journey. I did a 15 min journey (so the engine has been running for nearly 30mins) and the fan would still not blow any air. I left the car in the car park for 30 mins, on returning and starting the car the fan worked fine? So Today I went out to see what happened when I started the car. Not as cold as yesterday but windows still frosted over. Same again I started the car and NO fan, I left the car running and after 5 mins of the car sat idle the fan started. I did not have to restart the car it just turned on itself. Does the new model have some sort of temperature sensor that stops the fan from blowing when cold? I hope not or there are going to be a few cold journeys to work. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hello, I ordered a Superb Estate 2.0lt TDI SE 140BHP in candy white, with premium 10 speaker sound system, tinted windows and auto load cover. The order was placed on 27th August, it is now in stock and the car will be delivered to me on the 4th of November.

I currently drive a Superb twin door 140 SE but just ordered a 140 SE Est with premium sound system, tinted glass and auto load cover again in white. Oh and I am 39. I Love Skoda's, but wanted the Octavia VRS but not on list. yes I could have a more expensive superb Est with extras but not a Octavia VRS saloon? something to do with the resale price is a lot lower on the VRS.

I have a Superb SE 140BHP now and love it. I have done just over 66200 miles in 3 years 8 months. I just can help thinking about the slight tax saving. But am I loosing out on equipment by having the Octavia. will I get it and think oh I wish I got the superb for the next 4 years???

Options are 1, Skoda Superb Estate SE 2.0 140BHP in Candy white with 10 speaker upgrade, tinted windows and auto load cover. or 2, Skoda Octavia Estate Black Edition 2.0 150BHP in Moon white. If I have any colour other than the basic (White) in the superb I have to drop the speaker upgrade or both the tinted windows and load cover. So as I drive the car from the inside white will be fine. The Octavia is a faster engine 0.60 in 8.6 seconds and lower emissions at 106. The superb is 119, so the Octavia will be 28 pounds a month cheaper in Company car tax. Yes I do like the meteor grey. I would love to see one in the flesh. I also like Rallye Green but the other half does not. and she is the fleet manager so I need her to order it LOL. I need to pick a base colour. but want to know what this laser white looks like. does any one have any pics? as the Skoda configurator is crap at showing colours.

Hello SC03OTT. I have had a look, can not see the winter pack on my options list with the vehicle supplier. company cars seem to offer different options than the dealer. I can see the heated window screen only £200. even though I can scrape the window myself. I could get this with a base colour but which one. Candy white or laser white? this is the main reason I am asking. I am having trouble finding anything in laser white. what does it look like? VRS hatch. Black appearance pack, tinted windows. Heated screen but what colour out of the 2?

Hello, Pleased to meet you all. I am currently a proud Skoda Superb driver. I have been for 3 years 7 months. BUT it's time to change. I am a company car driver and have an allowance. So for my allowance I can get a Skoda Superb again but I always like to change. I have my heart set on a VRS. I can get it within my allowance and have some cash left for extras. So my basic build will be a VRS Hatch with Black appearance pack and tinted windows. I have enough left for ONE of the following. 1, A colour like race blue or moonstone white. 2, Choosing a basic colour like white or laser white and having the xtream 19" wheels. But I need help. if I choose the paint over the wheels, what does moonstone white look like? Do I choose paint over the wheels? If I choose wheels, does the candy white look better than the laser white? Has anyone seen the laser white? does it look better than candy white on the VRS? If you could let me know your thoughts please. I have seen and had a demo VRS for a week in candy white. and LOVED it. but I have not seen a Skoda in laser white.

Yes only 1 more day before I get it. still not sure on the new shape but ha ho I loved my old one. On Friday the 170 DSG est L&K will be in my hands. looking forward to real DRL's and not ones from ebay. 2 more sleeps.

I have a Superb with flashing lights in the back window and lights in the grill, They are not blue but amber. but when they are not working they are clear LED's, when I am traveling down the M6 not many people over take me. makes me smile. Yes my uniform is black polo shirt with yellow vest. So when people do creep past they are trying to look in. I love it when I fly up someone's arse in the fast lane, they stick the brakes on and move over with out delay.

Never burned anything. Nothing melted. No errors. Done about 12000 miles. Will buy again if they ever go, nice and white, I have a white car but still look nice and bright. A lot brighter than the originals.

I have an SE and it is Leather.

Mine still work spot on. Did a 4 hour trip the other day. so they was on for more than 4 hours without turning them off. Did not melt. so still happy with mine.

We take the badges of the back of our cars all the time. We have a fleet of about 450 to 500 Skoda’s the badges are taken off to apply magnetic or stick on chevrons. The people that do this come the day the car is delivered. They do not use heat or anything. They just pull them off wipe over the sticky area and you would not know there was a badge there.

Yep I think it was me after my other half went over to the Skoda Factory for a rewards night, and was shown the face lift Superb, And told me the badge was a lot better.

I see the Umbrella is back as standard on the SE, I did not get one with mine, but after complaining to Skoda, after pointing out that the brochure showed one but the car did not come with one I got 2. After the two problems yesterday, I have had no problems today, Again my car has been on long and short trips. Stoping and starting quite often. So god knows what happend yesterday.

I have had mine fitted for about a week now. No problems, BUT this morning I got a bulb error. Looked at the DRL and was lit ok. Turned on and off the engine and the error disappeared. Later today I got the same fault, but it reset straight away. I have started and stopped my car about 20 times today and got it twice. BUT then again I did this yesterday and got no problems. See what happens tomorrow.
