So, I was installing a new aerial to support my new DAB headunit and somehow have now lost power going through from the ignition and the headunit won't power up. I've checked the stereo socket with a multimeter and I'm not getting a reading from the ignition source. I'm not sure if there is a fuse for 12v ignition source? Fuse number 45 is fine and I am getting 12v from the constant source. I wonder if I have broken a wire somewhere, if so, where else could a get a 12v ignition source from?

Well my driverside front window finally decided to bite the dust a few weeks ago As the title says, can anyone recommendation a decent (if that's possible for VAG's ) window regulator for a Fabia (VRS) Cheers Higs

Definitely the battery that has went. Mine had just done the same. Had to put the booster pack on everytime i wanted to start the car, and the power steering choose if wanted to be on or not lol. New and better battery, feels like new again

Warming up and cooling down has nothing to do with the decat. The turbos on the vrs aren't the greatest. It is argued on here if it is worth wraming up and cooling down the engine oil temp to prevent the turbo from failing actually affects the diesel turbo, but it is always good practise to do so. What harm does it do? I may be wrong so point out if I am, I have never seen anyone on here with a decat have a turbo failure due to running it on a standard map

I removed my cat over a year ago and have never had a problem. Just make sure you warm up and cool down
