  1. Scouse Dave, you are a scholar and a gentleman! I would have torn my hair out if I had any without this advise!
  2. Hello there, is the pedal box still for sale?
  3. Barrie, The tyres are 225 45 18, standard size. Yes im actually in Dalbeattie now. That,s right near the Solway coast. Doug
  4. Hello there, they are the hyper black not all black. The face is a dark silver.
  5. Would anyone in briskyland be interested in purchasing my Neuspeed RSe10 18 x8s in hyper black? They were on my old car and I just have them sitting here in my loft. They have tyres on them but I can take these off. Only used for last summer, a few months, will be some small marks. Bought from Awesome gti @ £330 each. Photos available on request, message away. Looking for £850, bargain over new. Beautiful light wheels, straight fit no rings, spacers or different bolts needed. linky https://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-car/audi/a3-8p/neuspeed-rse10-light-weight-wheel-18x8-5x112/
  6. Vegasphil I may put them on for a change at some point. Will run winter wheels atm to protect the extremes. Ta.
  7. Thanks everyone. ahenners it has a winter pack on it, which is handy. biggy7 it is a manual diesel. toni8b it is a pre registered 1 with a few miles on it so I got a good deal, I'm not that fussed about new lights.
  8. Hello again, picking up the new car this week. 3rd Skoda, comes after Superb Elegance and a MK2 VRS.
  9. Hi folks, I've been a forum lurker and watcher for many years and found the site a great source of information, interest and how to's. I've taken the decision and traded in my MK2 VRS CR against a newer MK3 that I will post in that section. Rolling on Audi DTM rims to trade as I'm keeping my Neuspeeds. This one has many retrofits MDI, Columbus, Bluetooth and phone kit, manual MFSW. As well as many VCDS adaptations and a removed NQSBBK. Thanks for reading.
  10. I was 33 when I got my first Octavia VRS. I'm 39 now and picking up my 2nd on Wednesday.
  11. My VRS CR is 1 year old and supposedly on variable servicing. I have done 6225 miles and the service indicator is on. This seems strange to me as the old Superb on variable used to do 2 years. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
  12. Hi folks, Ive had a fault develop with my superb electric folding mirrors. I folded them in with the switch last week when i was in the city. when i came to drive home, i could not fold them out with the switch, so they were stuck. We carefully folded them out by hand so the car was safe to get home. But obviously they are not 'clipped' into the correct points as the motors are stuck shut. Any ideas? As an aside the battery is now kaput as well! I have it on a charger at the minute but as ive read on here they can fail so its probably time for a new one as its still the original. Car is 03 1.9 elegance.
  13. I cant praise this garage enough, I bought my superb here, a great deal, furthermore my dad, after my recommendation went and bought an octavia, also a great deal. I've dealt with John Armitage and found his manner and salesmanship to be second to none. The service department has always done me right also.
  14. I went in here a few weeks ago with cash and my superb, was going to trade for a leathered up fabia vrs on the spot. But the sales man couldn't give a flying f**k. This garage sucks, so i decided to keep my superb
  15. Hi everyone, this is a subject close to my heart, i run a superb tdi 1.9 130 pd, with a psi power box on the factory tuning setting, and i use unicat 4. last summer i did a long trip from scotland to Leicester the trip computer showed 66mpg, this was in very hot weather and with the cruise control set to 70mph. when i filled up on the motorway my computer told me i had just over 900miles in the tank at 66mpg!!!! my overall average is 48mpg however, how accurate are these trip computers? my father runs an octavia tdi 90bhp with the psi powerbox, he managed 72mpg on an hours drive last night!!
