Is there an inexpensive alternative mobile to the troublesome Nokia 2630 (previously posted see below) (I use phone for emergency only) Or help please re. pairing problem. Skoda Superb Elegance V6 3.6 Estate Petrol Reg.March 2011 My mobile (Nokia 2630) connection to car has previously been working fine. Cannot now obtain "pairing" I have enabled Bluetooth and made the phone visible on the Nokia SIS search recognizes the Nokia 2630 I enter the shown password , a sequence of 4 numbers consecutively into the Nokia phone. The only next option on my phone is to "save" and requires a name and address. The 4 sets of numbers just keep showing on the SIS display. I just want the SKODA to accept the Nokia phone

Thanks all. As the Skoda agent has advised the change I assume they are correct in stating it is a belt. So taking earlier advice here, and theirs, I will book the job because of the 5 year time element . £485 for belt and pump does seem excessive. May do a little comparison shopping. Again thanks! kgm

YES! My point is, despite the 5 year age, should I wait until mileage is higher before having belt/water pump changed ? kgm

My SKODA Superb Elegance 3.6 V6 auto Reg. March 2011 has only done 22 thou. miles. (Very elderly male driver). Letter from Local SKODA agent suggests I have toothed drive belt replaced @£385 or belt and water pump @£485. Any advice welcome. Thanks, kgm

On one occasion when recognised the phone asked for passcode, I gave default 1234. but not recognised Can anyone walk me through the correct sequence for pairing.

Not sure about bulb technology, but can the lower halogen daylight runing bulbs be replaced with (?) Bi Xenon whiter bulbs. There are now many cars running with this look. Now too old for DIY, so it would have to be local Skoda garage if possible. kgm

Yes Huskoda, will do after new tyres. Rears are 4.0 and fronts are 1.6. Could be tracking, but wear seems even. Thanks kgm

Car is just 2 years old, mileage only 9,400. I am quite elderly. Driving has always been very local up and down the A40 averaging about 12 miles each trip and many more very local. No motorway trips. Serviced today at local Skoda dealer, and was shocked to learn that both Continental front tyres were barely at legal limit. Is this an unusually low mileage for these to wear out so soon?

Reg. March 2011. Phone is Skoda approved and has worked perfectly until this code request. As I said, I enter the sequence of 4 numbers into the phone but cannot find a way to proceed further.. phone of course works perfectly out of car.

I am now getting an SIS messaage "Enter Code" which varies but always shows 4 numbers in sequence e.g 2222 3333 4444 5555. I enter these into the Nokia mobile but the only option then is to give a name and send. I cannot get any further. Does anyone have a solution to get the car and the phone compatable. KGM
