Thanks ap0gee Did the trick, no more red flashing light!! Drained the whole system while I was at it, flushed and re-filled with 50/50 red antifreeze :-) Jason

Thanks! I'll give the wire a go and see if the light goes out :-) I've just called the local Skoda garage and they've put me a header tank to one side to collect tomorrow in case it is that. Only 14quid :-) Fingers crossed Thanks again Jason

Same thing here. Fabia Classic 1.4 8v Yreg 2001 When driving slowly, pressing on and off the gas in 1st, 2nd and 3rd, Clunk On and off the brakes when crawling in traffic. Clunk And if I'm going round bumpy corners that makes me feather the accelerator. Clunk Clunk Clunk!! Passed it's MOT 1 week ago so I'm thinking they should have picked up on engine/gearbox mounts, anti-rollbar, CV joints etc.... Really annoying especially in the town when crawling and everybody is looking at the car like it's an alien!!!

Help needed from a newby! Just bought a 2001 Fabia 1.4 8v a week ago. Got the red temp light flashing from cold and slow to warm up. Temp guage a bit erratic as well. Light goes off if you switch off and on again when the engine has warmed up.. And I have a really rough idle. So, today I've replaced the thermostat and sensor complete from Skoda, 41quid. The thermostat had disintegrated completely, so I'm glad I did the whole lot rather than just the sensor :-) Put everything back together and I still have the red light flashing........! Scratching my head here what else it could be??? Header/expansion tank as well?? Any help appreciated Regards Jason
