  1. This is hilarious coming from some one who I guess is in there 50's due to 35 years driving experience. Not sure winning 3rd at a karting event is enough to leave a lasting impression on John Watson. What exactly are you famous for, name dropping race car drivers from the 90's? Ps. £6200 for 5 weeks on a top ten beach for 2, sign me up. Sounds a bargain.
  2. Sounds like you over took a Porsche going slower then you
  3. Turbo technology has come on since the days of the Evo 8 on top gear.
  4. Put the car in reverse etc so the sensors turn on, then go around the car and feel each sensor. You should hear and feel a clicking from each one. If ones not clicking then its dead or has a bad connection. Try scanning the car with DTC Fault Memory erase for VAG. I used this free app to diagnose a faulty sensor and parking sensor speaker where other apps gave generic codes.
  5. I'd ask the dealer for more information before handing over £500. Sludge in the coolant is usually because its mixed with oil.
  6. Its why they say its an estimate delivery date, basically leaves them open to push it back as much as they like.
  7. No ones paying RRP either for these so they haven't lost as much as you'd think.
  8. I've had leased cars for the past 4 years with Admiral and there's been no issues with having the lease company as the registered owner, it didn't make a difference to the price either. Only thing that has changed with them is the policy holder is no longer covered to drive a third party vehicle.
  9. 3 year lease is becoming more popular, my next car is on a 6+35 lease profile. Current 2 year lease seemed to go by quick so want something longer this time and it was cheaper then 2 years.
  10. Must be different for BMW then as some options do increase the GMFV for PCP. You can't say a £30k car has the same GMFV as a £30k + £5k options is the rule.
  11. Not sure with the 245, but for example an Auto M140i adds £500 which is a £1300 option to the gmfv. I'm referring to PCP here as there is no gmfv as such with PCH.
  12. Must be list price of around £30k and 6% APR then.
  13. This cant be right, £536 a month. Whats the GMFV?
