I did it the other way round! I sold a mint 850 2.5GLT estate for a V70 2.4 got this now skoda going up for sale as I really miss the Volvo so looking for 850R , T5R, or T5 at a push. don't get me wrong the skoda a good car but the Volvo,s are just awesome you cant beat the sound of the Volvo lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ew6YwIN2IQc

Hi Skud. Nicks Dad, the DV valve had to be fitted that way as he has a faulty made tip hose!! should be sorted soon when he gets a new one glad all works done !!!! Nick can help me get on with some of my jobs now!! pmsl Ie my mk1 1300s fez!! lol

Can you tell me the DV and breather holes? are they in line on this pipe?? and chance of a piccy of them

I helped Nick fit this pipe today ( his Dad). we first looked at nicks car found he didnt have one of the pipes on his engine, Nicks vrs is a 2001 plate. I looked at my 53 plate vrs and mine had the extra pipe fitted. both are the AUQ engines. We blanked the extra hole off!. No way will the dv valve fit as it should, as when you put the dv in you then cant fit the pipe on the dv, as the engine breather pipe is in the way!! the only way it fits is to turn the dv valve round which makes it a bit taller for the pipe to fit. After fitting this hose the pipe it looked to short and then had to play about with the air mass meter and air filter pipe and pull them further into the engine bay! Nick says this sould be a direct replacement pipe!! looks very much like a after market part that fits where it touches. unless this is a faulty made part. IE dv hole made to close to breather hole and hose has been cut to short. on the skoda pipe we took off both holes (dv and breather) are in line with each other, this tip are offset. Looking at the forge web site theirs is inline as per skoda one!

Hi all , We are fitting this to my sons car and he seems to have a pipe extra on his TIP . On my VRS i have this pipe but on his he doesnt . Do i just blank it off or is the pipe wrong ?

happened to my daughters car. tried the adjusting the gear linkage, ended up putting another gearbox in :(

Yeap I have the first one! only problem when fitting was sorting the horns out under the wing as mine was in the way. But has been fine for the last 2years. you get a nice noise from it! my son paid £180 for his I dont think its any better!! lol you could always but a k&n on end

My sons 01 plate vrs was covered. they even washed its and hoovered out!! He was well pleased with the dealer I had my 53 plate vrs also done free! they washed it put was already clean inside!!! lol

HI I have a vrs estate and have tried to get my rust problems sorted under warranty. Was told that the other owners should have reported the problem before hand, so would not be covered. octavia estates have a big problem with rust on tail tailgates. they SHOULD RECALL THEM but they wont!!! they told me there is no problem with the tailgates rusting !!! yeah right!! Every one I have seen are rusty!!! Its a shame!! thats the only bit of rust on mine. rest of her is mint! COME ON SKODA UK !!! SORT IT!!!

I have fitted the yellow powerflex dogbone mount, I get more vibration through the car at certain revs, It feels like the exhaust is hard on the floor of the car! I am thinking of refitting an OEM one again!! was a much better I think

my daughter has a 03plate 1.8t 150hp octavia, she said a couple of weeks ago had trouble getting first gear. I drove the car and had no problems! I went out yesterday got about 5 ft from curb car stopped!! and wouldnt move.It felt like she was in 1st and reverse at the same time. couldnt get the gear lever to come out of first gear! even with the engine turned off, still wouldnt come out. The car had a new clutch fitted 2 years ago. started the engine tonight to have a quick look got the car into reverse car moved, but I couldnt get the car out of reverse!! turned the engine off lever was stuck!! after alot of pulling came out!! with the engine switched off can only get 2nd gear will not go in any other! started the engine again managed to get into 1stgear, again gear lever was then stuck and struggled to get her out of gear again!! apart form the 1st gear problem a couple of weeks ago, there never has been any noise from the gearbox or clutch! only thing I can think of is gearbox bearings collapsed! now over to you guys!!

Hi have just done my sons vrs!! He ordered 12x24 was just enough. I might even do my vrs!! lol My son painted his grill black first!! but kept cracking so he wrapped it!! I have also wrapped mine easy to do!!

Nice volvo 850-R OR A VOLVO T5-R ESTATE OLD 80s but 250 hp standed then a remap 310 hp fast as fook!!

I looked at loads of wheels before i did my 16" spiders!! yeap power coated dark grey!! lol
