i all ways have the car 4 wheel aligned never trusted the front alignment set-up was told that it might be a bush causing the problem but not sure which one it can be

the shocks are 2 years old and have done about 10kand yes they do bounce back once and return

Not sure if anyone has had this before but thought i would ask. When i am driving my octavia it feels like it is bouncing all over the place has anyone got any ideas what it might be? thanks in advance

Looking at getting a new stereo for the Octavia want to keep the double din stereo but not sure which one I still would like to keep the rear parking aid but would like the following features Bluetooth sat nav mp3 aux touch screen keep the use of the multi changer in the boot if possible any suggestions p.s it is for a 2006 skoda Octavia elegance

Rear washer is all sorted now pipe had come off in the boot right next to the rear parking sensor control box

there is no water in the spare wheel well it was just a faulty sensor which is now fixed but still have no rear screen wash.

how would i go about taking the rear nozzle off?

Thanks for the replys found it is a faulty sensor. Does anyone have the part number for a 06 plate octavia so i dod not get the wrong one p.s my rear washers do not work so i am guessing either a pipe is damaged or has a block in the pipe

My sensors do not seem to work when reverse is engaged there is a long beep and then nothing no image on the radio and no beeping from the sensors them selfs. How would i go about find what the problem is as i am not sure if it is a sensor that has gone or the control box.

more than likley as it was reading 10 mpg when i picked it up

sorted thanks went for a cruise on the m5 at a steady 70 mph (cruise control) and it went back to normal after about 20 miles

the average mpg is right (45 to 50 mpg not been on any motorways or long runs yet) it is just the range that is way off

Can any one help me. My cambelt went on the octavia last week :sweat: which has now been fixed (ver yexpensive but was down to the tension pin snapping after 2.5 years and being over tightened by skoda). But the problem i have is the fel range is miles off i have just over 3/4 of a tank and it is only saying i have 290 miles on the range where as before the cambelt went it would say about 500 miles ( it is a diesel ). Is there any way of resetting it or is it something that will sort it self out over time? thanks rob
