EPC error happend to me this weekend with my 2011 skoda fabia 1.2 tsi dsg.. Emergency mode and had to be towed to the skoda dealer. They give me a bill at 17K norwegian krones if they gonna fix it for me! I asked for the partsnumber of the parts that needs to be changed but he didnt have permission to give me that?? :( He did gave me the names only but without partsnumber for the parts sitting in my car today there is a lot of parts that dont fit if I order the parts from a netshop I think.. 1) Throttle 2) Oil Separator 3) Control Valve (Breathing to engine) Anyone know the partsnumber for this parts for my car? My chassis / VIN number is: TMBJN65J9C3028523

Mine fabia 1.2 tsi DSG is from late 2011, driven 12.000 km now and have not refilled any oil yet.. stick is still over half

Found the manual for the towbar just raw power that was needed to fix it!

I am trying to remove the plate for the factory fitted towbar so I can mount it but the plate wont go off.. is there any spesial way to remove it so I can attach the towbar? Pictures would be great!

the doors get locked before I start the engine.. it looks like they lock when I put in the key..

Anyone have had this problem? Sometimes when I open the car, sit in, close doors and turn the ignition on it sounds like the doors get locked? I hear the doors "clicking" like it dose when I click on the remote..

Found out how.. but one thing.. Where can I buy two extra rubber-strip to put on after the winter when I need to cut those two I have today in several parts?

I have original Skoda roof-bars on my car and was going to mount the Thule skiholder today when I noticed a strange thing.. The plastic/rubber stripe on the top of the roof-bars needs to be removed to mount the ski-holder! If I do that water and dirt will fill up the empty space quick I think.. (where the plastic/rubber is today). What about the plastic-cover at the sides of the roof-bars? on or off?

me too and now I have 4 x nightbreakers plus - Great light (the two screw I thougt I needed to unscrew the bulbs was wrong.. it was just to snap it off).

I took the chance to drive to work this morning anyway.. with luck (no scratcy sound from the engine) I stopped the car a bit hard to make sure the screwdriver moved forward and it did.. I used a magnet with a tiny wood-stick and hooked up the screwdriver from front of the radiator

Tryed to change my bulbs tonight and figured out that I needed to screw out two small screws.. but while I put the screwdriver on the top of the engine and tryed to take out the bulb the #(¤&"#" screwdriver felt down in the bottom of the car I think :( I cannot see where it is! and under the car its a big metal-plate (rugh road package). Wounder if its safe to drive to the skoda-garage with the screwdriver in there or safe to start the engine at all? its about 20cm long I think. is there anyting in the bottom of the engine that is moving?

another question about the bluetoot.. Anyone know if there is a mic in the car for those who have bluetooth handsfree? if yes where? If I have the phone inside my pocket I can still talk as clear like it was open in front of me.. but I dont see any mic in the roof..

If I only have them to work while its darkest in Norway I be happy.. its dark like in this video now here where I live.. 3-4 months more and I can change back..

:( I ordered 2xh7 and 2xh4?? Thougt thats was whats saying in the manual page 186... see now I took wrong Ordering two extra h7 bulbs now.. any h4 bulbs in my car? :wonder:

How do u guys change front-bulbs in the fabia? think its not so easy with my big hands! Anyone know how long time a skoda-garage would use to change 4 bulbs? 2xh7 and 2xh4? Just bought new osram nightbreakers from ebay and will get them soon.. Another problem with my car is that front lights are set too low! and the "wheel" to change the light up and down is set to highest up.. (-)

Is there something wrong with my climatronic? Always when I start the car and I have the climatronic on auto it starts to blow cold air at level 3 so I have to turn it off untill the car is hot.. Anyone have the same problem?

Perhaps I shuld take a trip to the skoda dealer and ask them to check my ecu for correct programming? btw.. Anyone know if there is a new ecu for the 2012-model? That perhaps dealers in Norway dont have yet? First I wait a year for the car then 2 months later it starts to brake down :( Fabia Combi 1.2 TSI DSG

I am not sure but it feels like there is another car to drive after this happend :( is it possible that my ecu needs a remap? (the cars brain?) Seams like the dsg change different now then before they changed the "powercontroller for the battery".. Perhaps it was the ecu they changed since they had to program my keys when I picked it up? and that they didnt have the newest data? I dont know.. Anyone knows about how the electric works in the new skoda? When I told a friend of mine that I had a road-help to start my engine with a remote battery he had.. he told me that new cars MUST NOT use remote batteries or start-cables to start the engine because they can get hurt.. he have a skoda too.
