Are you shure? My mirror reverts to the normal position when exceeding 15 Km/h (about 10 mph) not directly after putting it in to first gear. I can also get it to go back to the normal position if i move the mirror adjustment button to to any other position than "R" (witch is the position the button should be in for the mirror to dip here in Sweden, I guess its the "L" position in the UK?)

I have the upgraded sound system and I think its great comparing it with the standard system, not weak or thin. However one time when I was listening on the radio with the ignition off, there was almost no bass, but when i turned the ignition on the bass came back. Almost like the amplifier was turned off... Maybe you have the system installed but your amplifier is not working correctly? /P

Hi, Sounds like the locking pin gets stuck when you unlock. Have you tried to lock/unlock the car with the filler cap door open? Maybe it is possible to see if the locking mechanism works as it should? Regarding the car locking itself, its a feature. If you unlock the car and you don't open a door or the trunk within 30 seconds it will lock again. /P

I have kessy, and you can only fold the mirrors with the remote or with the knob. Its not possible to fold them with the kessy sensor, but I like it anyway.

I have a MY11 with sound system and I have no problems with vibrating doorcards, and I think that the system sounds better than the upgraded sound in my old Audi A4 MY09. Shure if you crank up the volume really high things may start vibrating, but you will not hear it because of the high volume. There are several fixes for problems with vibration/rattling sounds in the sound system in the skoda workshop Information service called erwin. Most problems are due to loose plastic details I think. But maybe this is not the same problems people here are having... /P

Thats strange! Maybe these options was not available on the 2010 model? (Mine is a 2011). Have you checked the manual? Mine says what menus should be available in the phone menu in the MaxiDot. If your manual says that you should have menus other than the ones you have, I would take the car to the dealer and ask them to fix it. /P

I have the GSM II kit and I have the menus that are shown in the video. To get there i press the phone button on the steering wheel or scroll to "Phone" in th main menu on the Maxidot. There are no settings on the Columbus for the phonebook. /P

I am 28 and my Superb Elegance Combi replaced an Audi A4 2.0T Quattro Avant (2009). My brother in law (just a couple of years older) tought that my old car looked like the batmobile, so he is happy now that I replaced it. Im happy to! /P

Sounds like the beep comes from the tailgate itselfe, so maybe you could just remove the trim and disconnect the speaker? /P

I have noticed this to. I thought it was because I kept holding the lock button for to long after the windows closed/mirrors folded. Maybe there is some kind of software failure in the system when this happends? /P

I have a Superb Combi that was delivered in the beginning och December 2010 with panoramic sunroof. I have not noticed any "clonking" sounds. I have noticed some creaking noises from the roof when going over bumps when its cold outside. Sound like the rubber seals... /P

Both my door mirrors dim on my Superb (MY2011). It comes with the Elegance package here in Sweden. Maybe its not standard in the UK? If it is, you should contact your dealer... /P

I have an Aqua Blue Estate 1.8T Elegance with KESSY, Sound upgrade, Sunset Glass (and some other options...) KESSY: I think its worth it. Its nice to lock, unlock and start the car without the need to take the key out of the pocket. I also have the electric boot and it really nice when you have your hands full, just one little press on the boot button and it opens. Sunset Glas: Looks nice. I think it looks very dark from the outside, but not so dark from the inside. Sound Upgrade: Worth it. It sounds much better then the standard sound system. Compared to the upgraded system in my old Audi A4 (2009, not B&O), this sounds better. I think the bass is more than enough with this system. I think that the Aqua blue looks really nice... /P

You are right about the 1st and then every 5th. But I think they are pushed out by the pressure of the washers. Then when the pressure dissapears they retract because the mechanism is spring loaded. It still may be separtely fused if there is a separate pump for the headlight washers... /P

The headlight washers only comes out on the fifth time you wash the windscreen. Try to wash the screen a couple of times more to see if they pop out... /P

Sorry for the OT... Did your dealer tell you anything else about the PLONG? For example how to get rid of it? The only way I found is to turn the telephone volume down when in a call or when selecting ringtones in the Maxidot. The problem with that is that you need to turn up the volume when calling and then remenber to turn it down again. /P

Maybe it's a safety feature so that it's harder to start the car so that a kid doesn't start it by accident... /P

You don't need to upgrade the firmware to upgrade the maps. The latest maps is V7 and its available on a DVD. The map data on that DVD is from Q4 2009. /P

I have to, and if I point a light directly to the sensor on the mirror (next to the green light), all mirrors dim. /P

Get the iPhone 4 before you get the car, or you will be disappointed that your iPhone 3G connects to the car! /P

Maybe! It´s just strange that this feature is only standard with one engine/gearbox combination in the UK. There seems to be a lot of difference in standard specs between the countries. I think that hill hold is standard on all models here in Sweden. /P

Here are a video of the Kenwood unit: Notice the text at the end: "Some of these sequenses have been sped-up for visual purposes" So the video may not show the real performance of the unit. I think it looks cheep in comparison with the Columbus, but thats just me... /P

I downloaded and are using V7 West Europe from one site that has got a whole lot of attention in the media.(At least here in Sweden, because the site founders are from here) I have no problems with it! My car was delivered with V6.1 in the beginning of December and I think that it should have been delivered with V7. Because I don't want to argue with the dealer I just downloaded it. The maps will be outdated soon again! /P
