Happen on my Passat last year pull it off and use some good quality glue to put it back on and add some tape while it dries, job done

Dedicated it is then so what's best gonna be fitting it myself along with my bro who kinda knows what he's doing I've got full vcds hex can lead, so do I buy it all in one go from pfJones seems to be cheapest or just buy towbar and separate electrics else ware ? Detachable with 13 pin dedicated electrics is coming in at £316 ?

Had a look yesterday and the level was just under minimum so went to my local motor factors and got some of their red coolant was actually pink when I was pouring it in, the 2 prongs look clean so left them alone, will wait for another cold morning and see what happens if comes on again then will have to go down the header tank route, thanks

Thanks guys will have a look this afternoon, think it needs topping up but got no pink/ red coolant G12 stuff can you add any other non G12 stuff to it that's red? Don't want to add just water and it looks a bit thin/ pale not strong atm

Mrs just sent me this pic in a panic after starting the car this morning and it was flashing and beeping at her, guessing it's coolant temp? Being not very warm this morning we know it's cool does this indicate something else wrong, am at work so handbook is at home Tia Matt

What's the difference between dedicated electrics and universal ? Do I really need them? Is it worth an extra £100 or so. Matt

Mine does the same some days fine some days misses once or twice in a day then fine, it's had a bottle of injector cleaner and only use shell diesel in it, past few days it's been ok not noticed it and I've given it a thrash which may of helped, don't drive it everyday and I guess town driving don't help

Did you spot any water marks or splashes of water on the inside of the boot trim ? Am in the middle of changing mine now as it works when it wants too and it's leaking it's currently disconnected till I can source another Matt

Yeah pre fl model 06 plate I've got my mates vcds full version cable at the minute but just annoyed I was told need to buy canbus safe stuff and now don't need it :-/
