  2. If i change my air filter to a K&N filter, would i see and real changes in the cars performance, or is it not worth the changing.
  3. No the chain was fine, it was the exhaust valves, got a message from Facebook Skoda UK wanting to know if they can help after i caused a fuss. They now have car details and my number now see what they say.
  4. I would expect this to happen to a car with 30,000 miles on the clock
  5. Got my car back on Friday after investigating what was wrong. It was the exhaust valve in cylinder No3 which buggered up. Go no help from Skoda/VW group about contributing to the repair which i was surprised and relieved that i was only charged £780 when i thought it would be a lot more.
  6. The other day the wife was driving to work when all of a sudden the car felt lumpy and the EPC and exhaust system lights came on the dash. My car is 2010 1.2 TSI 85 with only 33,000 miles on the clock. I have a garage looking at it and they will let me know for defo in a couple of days what is the problem, they said injectors and all electrics are fine and working well. He said the problem is cylinder No3 has the problem. Has anyone else come across this and what was it. I can't believe this problem has come about with such low mileage. Skoda UK said it's out of warranty and are not prepared to help me with the cost of repair. With what i am learning i am losing faith in the VW group.
  7. I was told not to install windows 10 till December as there will be problems with drivers which would have been resolved by then
  8. Mine is a 2010 TSI so it's the one with a substandard chain. I wonder how much to change it.
  9. I wonder how much Amazon had to pay them to do a show on Prime as i can imagine other tv channels wanting them.
  10. Just had my Furby serviced and i mentioned the rattle as i used a different garage than my usual as i wasn't happy with the other. The rattle was the from the timing chain guides but since the service the noice has gone and the guy said they used the wrong oil last year. H e put the right oil and so far so good.
  11. I am looking for sit up and beg riding as i have ridden superbikes for a while and want something to suit my age
  12. I love the look and i know about the fueling and if restricted that can be dealt with no problem.
  13. I am thinking on getting a Honda VFR1200 for my next bike. Any of you have one and if so what do you like and dislike about it.
  14. My first car which i bought in 1986 was a 1978 Mk2 Escort 1.3GL
  15. Has anyone used Vulcanet cleaning wipes to wash their car, just saw Shemee 150 on Youtube use it on his McClaren.
  16. It was built 2010, so i will have to change it. I was quoted £1300 to change it, is this right
  17. Just had my Furby serviced and mot and for a while i have had a rattling sound coming from the engine but as it is not all the time i thought nothing major. The mechanic said it's the timing chain guides which are wearing and might need changing if the noise gets more and more consistent. It's 5 years old with 32000 on the clock, i thought the chain would not need changing till around 60000, has anyone had this. 1.2 TSI 85.
  18. I have been married 21 years this year and been together 28 years.
  19. I only use Bosch for sds drills as they are great value and last for years.
  20. I loved the show, i know a lot of it is staged and scripted but it is a fun entertainment show which makes me laugh. Apparently their contracts were up in April/May and they were considering leaving but this happened before that. Hope they don't go to Sky as i don't have Sky.
