hallo, not had eny issues with dsg, garage,skoda dealer,so correct oil and filter must of been used, approx 30,000 miles since it was done ,milage now 105,000. -

hallo dsg gearbox oil needs to be changed every 40000 miles, would also be wise to he same change the filter at same time,to avoid trouble. -
hallo all, i changed to led headlights yesterday,but when i tried them out,they did not work,had warning lights and engine managment light come on,so changed back to original halagen,switched lights on,and all ok. eny one got any info,something i may have done wrong maybe.

hello, hope this will help,i own a skoda Octavia 2006,am not to sure ,but on mine the alarm is under the drivers side wheel arch,you have to remove the liner to gain access the alarm, it is in a steel box held in place by screws,you need to remove these to gain enry.

hallo all, I have the dreaded battery drain,ore should I say famous .I believe there are lots of threads on this issue someware but unable to find, have tried pulling fuses,but no luck,except on one fuse I removed,i heard a relay noise under the right side witch I believe feeds the test socket,very slight drain hear.could this be the problem. any advise please. thanks. Chas.

hallo, I am led to believe coilovers will give a very firm ride,would advise to stick with conventional set up,to give you the ride comfort you are after. hope this helps a little. -
hello all, does eny one no if it is possible to by pass the air con compressor by fitting a kit ore shorter belt on the mk2 2litre tdi Octavia. thanks for any info.

I had the same problem,found the longest filter as showing in carparts4you,there are at least 3 different filters, but am pretty sure it is the mann ore bosh filters showing together,and same size. as said the longest.

Rear wiper not working and fail it's mot

Hallo, The pipe for the rear wiper is behind the left side panel,and is atached to the wire loom,black in colour,follow the pipe round and also remove the rear panel,and ckeck for loose conected pipe fitting,this is where mine was apart. Hope this helps. Chas. -
Thanks Bought 2 from eurocar parts,complete housing units for 28 pound and a few pence the pair . Look like the original.

Hy chaps, Has eny one fitted replacement wishbone aly rubber supports ,front rear ones with three bolts. Mot advise ,are they straight foreward, ore is there some pitfalls . eny advise would be welcome. Thanks Chas.

hallo all, have a problem with centrol locking, alarm and lights going of on there own,now and again,somtimes lights only,and normally in the early hours,no one trying to break in.also happened a couple of times on hols when starting the car,alarm has went off,turning key off,and restarting was ok,this has only happened when using the car first time in the morning. Does the alarm want possibly reseting,if so ,how. thanks for eny help, chas

Hallo all, My central locking alarm and lights sometimes goes of , mainly in the early hours for some reason,no one near car,also indicaters might start to flash,with no alarm sounding. This also happened on holliday a couple of times. Also when starting car,again only a couple of times Is it possible to reset the alarm,if so how. Eny help please. Thanks Chas.
