You want it cheaper than it already is? You Skoda boys.......... :ignore:

I owned a brand new Rapid Coupe in 1990. I can remember going all the way from Matlock to watch a rally on Epynt the first month I owned it. Did there and back in the day and it was a hoot. Rolled it on its side 3 months later - driving with an injured hand, missed the gear and ended up going into a corner in neutral. Thats the truth Still got a Haynes manual if anyone wants it.

Probably one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36680&item=7996359529 PJGoose69 has one on his vRS - it looks good, sounds good and you cannot fault it at the price. ......over to you PJ........

Fuel economy - how will these mods affect it?

I was only referring to it because PJGoose was there when I did my dog bone mount - I took the strut brace off to make it easier to get to the DB. It went on again afterwards.

.....to save you the effort: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=61819&highlight=lower+strut+brace+price

Oh and you would need these as well:

Its the same as the one I took off mine when I was changing the dog bone mount. You need what is often known as the S3 lower strut brace - they are as cheap from a dealer - part number 8N0 199 403 B. If you do a search, you might find a price (either on here or seatcupra.net). Send me your pics.

Slightly off the original topic, but following the majority of threads posted so far, are you saying that you do or don't find the (potential) new Leon Cupra appealing: http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.edetres.com/imgp/2005/04/06/bdepmi8929.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.edetres.com/articulo.php%3Fid%3D2950&h=230&w=320&sz=19&tbnid=Mby-m91iql0J:&tbnh=81&tbnw=113&hl=en&start=3&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dseat%2Bleon%2Bprototype%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DG At least it is a completely new style - can't exactly say the same about the Octavia vRS. I accept that 'standard' Seat models don't always hit the spot, but you could not say the same about their sporting versions. It only takes the right colour, decent wheels and a few suptle styling bits and they seem to get it right.
