  1. Is it still possible to be something exhaust related when it not the same when turning? I have tried to feel around the flexible part but I feel/hear nothing. The sound is not that loud at standstill, even when revving.
  2. Hi. I first started hearing this in April, thought it was the exhaust. Tried to feel with hands for a leak, even had a rag at the pipe to hear something. No luck. Let it be for some time in hope the leak would be bigger and easier to find. The sound was a bit louder but not the normal exhaustsound, more a normal motorsound but louder. Down under again and tried to find it, no luck. Now the sound is pretty loud. No real difference is rpm, but louder the faster i go and small vibrations now. If i turn to the left its almost gone. Spun the front wheels and had the hand on the springs, maybe a little vibration on the left (not much, and could be to the brakes) Checked the engine mounts upper/lower, but not really sure how to test them. 😃 Any suggestion what/how to check is appreciated. 2008 1.4MPI
  3. If its still hard i think ill just buy a new fan for 50£. But, do you have links to the videos? Maybe they can be of some help.
  4. Wow, under 50£. mine is a leftie (6Q1 820 015 H).
  5. So my fanmotor is dead (i think), display is working but blower is dead. Searching for a instruction for the dashout job, but cant find any. Is there a video, pictures or just text? And there is no way to know for sure that its the blower thats faulty? Without taking it to the shop for a diagnostic, right? Where to find what blower motor/model i have to order? Thanks. 2008 1.4 elegance 63kw combi
  6. Ah, ok. I got both the clutch and the brakeswitch. Still the same faultcode. And i did some more resistance measurements on the cruiseswitch (one the cables). Everything seems ok, and the 12V also. What can i do next, just the VCDS option left now?
  7. Just bought 2008 1.4 and the CC isnt working. I think i have read most of the related topics here by now. I dont have VCDS, but a cheap scanner. It shows: "17977 - Cruise Control Switch (E45): Implausible Signal" Tested the PCB/Stalk with a Fluke, seems to be ok. My brakelights works. Can i test the ECUpart of the brakelightswitch without VCDS somehow? And same question for the Cluthswitch.
