  1. So I've just upgraded my decrepit mk1 fabia vrs for a 2015 yeti 170 4x4 manual. The fabia did 160k miles, 120 of which was with a shark performance remap on. Thought yeah I'd do that again so I had a look, seems shark has gone bye bye which sucks. Whose my best bet these days please? I'm sure this is asked regularly so apologies for being that guy!
  2. I've only ever dealt with the service side of things so I can't speak for the other parts of the dealership. Have zero complaints with the service team and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. A lot of places are quite pushy with trying to get you to have work done but after what must be 40k of services they have never once tried anything. Maybe I just look like the type who knows about cars
  3. I've never been given any wine :( But I've had the oil, lube and screenwash freebie's.
  4. Keep an eye on the f1 forums and there will be people posting links for streams on the day. Places like http://www.not606.co...p/152-Formula-1 are normally pretty good.
  5. £282 for 70k service, front wishbone bushes, a wash, rear wiper and some spare fluids (1ltr oil, windscreen wash and door join grease) No complaints
  6. All I can suggest, was the suspension in its natural position when the rarb was put on?
  7. Just booked in for a 70k service so hopefully they've not gone bad in the last few months
  8. I'm sure my computer has got more accurate recently. Used to be about 5mpg too good, now seems ~2mpg worse (lots of miles and stuff)
  9. Not much F1 interest on here then, definitively worth a watch in my opinion
  10. Sad day for F1 yesterday, free to view down the pan. pages of unhappy fans :'(
  11. They all seemed bad back in Jan/Feb time, but either the mods have sorted the place out or the arsey members buggered off. I like a good clashing of ideas as long as it ain't personal.
  12. Don't really have the time to get involved in other forums these days but I do like to read some, makes some interesting reading. Not606 N606 - link is a pretty good one. Good mix of humor and techy stuff. Anyone else use Not606 or other sports forums, hopefully I can get more involved on here and over there once work calms down
  13. Ignoring the 'super' Cooper S versions there are: 163bhp 210Nm 170bhp 220Nm 172bhp 260Nm 181bhp 240Nm 181bhp 260Nm and more... Versions, so it depends which one
  14. Hasn't got back to us, obviously the hard setting was a bad idea Mines on Medium at the moment and its all good, now the weathers picked up and the roads warmer I'll probably knock it up a setting myself.
  15. Do exactly that and you'll be as fine as you can be, and take lots of pictures just in case.
  16. Having come from a high reving n/a car it was strange at first to feel the power dying down after 3.5k. The map has made the car smoother and now it pulls hard all the way up the revs. Its just generally nicer to drive now, much more responsive, and has what I can only describe as a improved feeling of nippiness
  17. Thats a lot of car products in the background
  18. Can't say anything about greenstuff but I had EBC redstuff pads and EBC turbo disks all round on my last car and its braking was epic, and they didn't seem to fade ever.
  19. +1 Especially if your the passenger in your own car which is being driven fast
  20. What sort of temperature was it? When its below zero (it wasn't that cold then was it?) I was struggling to scrape 50mpg even with granny driving... minus the clutch riding
  21. Cruise Control at 62mph and I seem to get 65mpg+ now its warmed up. The trip computer also only seems to ever be a couple of mpg out on mine. On average with a fairly smooth commute and weekly long journey I see 52-56mpg which I'm happy with. Beats the 32mpg with the last car
  22. My inspection light came on today (service) but the car was serviced 3ish weeks ago. I assume they just forgot to reset it. Is there a way for me to reset it or is it an annoying back to the garage job?
  23. I was charged 2 1/2 hours labour for my cambelt and water pump change by a very well respected local independent. They even wash the car afterwards for you
