I got my done in December... Once the engine gets warm the acceleration is noticably improved...MPG no adverse impact at all,getting couple more per gallon..So got a peppier car but now want more as one can have never enough of torque...

I would get Cambelt & water pump-Indie- 300 Brake pads & discs 300 both rear & front..indie and 40k service done from skoda 239 makes it total 839 GBP

I have Octavia MK2 1.9 TDI , skoda's answer was 95000 miles or 4 years whichever is ealier so getting it done @indie for 290 incl water pump!!!

My local indi charged me 20 quid labour to change the front pads...so u can source the best ones and ask them to fit..

I understand Unit 18 do it for 300 quid incl water pump!!!

Just spoke to them,they are charging 395 if you want to get water pump changed too!!! So not so hot after all considering the cost of water pump & extra labour!!!!

Any thoughts on what I should do after getting my 1.9 TDI remapped from 105 to 135!!!Feel like I need quicker acceleration and may be something special& cheerful!!!Had it remapped from Shark during Xmas..

I have been advised by Technical Support that the correct change interval for your cam belt is 95,000 miles or 4 years, whichever comes first. Thank you again for contacting Skoda Customer Services.

After having remapped my Mk2 Octy 1.9 TDI 105 would appreciate some tips as well about the next steps...

35 or whatever litres of extra s[ace does not portray the actual additional space u get in estate!! Esp when picking up people with loads of luggage ,getting stuff from Ikea or going to the tip!!! Personally love the look of the estate and while buying was willing to pay extra to get Estate only..Roof rails Great so that u can put up a roof box or whatever u wish!!!
