  1. Perry much that easy. Edited the folder structure a little from how iTunes had it set up, but that was not a necessity. .... It was shared from the music folder where ITunes stored it rather than from within iTunes itself.
  2. Yesterday I was stopped and the engine stopped as it should. I then opened the door briefly so got the message to restart manually. However as I pressed the clutch just before turning the key back to the off position so I could restart at again it started up anyway. Strange.
  3. Nope. I've got the shark fin with BT+ and no sat nav, so it must be doing something!
  4. I was pre 0% and wanted a car pretty quick due to problems with my part-ex...... just wanted shot of it before it cost me any more.... so taking the actual car I'd test driven, with zero wait and knowing that most bugs should'be been discovered and fixed worked for me at the time
  5. I bought one back in May with 2k on the clock. Very happy with it and I think I got a pretty good price. I went with std finance to get the free servicing and then cancelled it after a few days and paid off in full for about £13 interest but keeping the free servicing.
  6. I've had a quote from the fitter my dealer uses for a detachable Swan neck with universal 13 pin wiring and a switch in the boot for the parking sensors for £310 fitted to my hatchback (rather than the dedicated wiring which doesn't need the switch but adds £150)
  7. I've been thinking of getting something like this in my cars after been done over in a collision by someone who ran a red light. No witnesses (who stopped), no cctv. Ended up being decided as 50:50 which annoyed me no end!
  8. And unofficially earlier than that, though there might then be a delay while they 'forget' to send the log book off until it is 3 months old! !!! I got mine at just less than 2 months old.
  9. Just seen my 1st mkiii vRS on the road. Shame it was being driven like it was stolen past my house next to a school in a quiet village! There are some idiots around.
  10. Plectrumman, what mode were you in (econ, normal, sport or individual)? I still haven't managed to average more than 55mpg over a full tank despite a pretty light foot. Am trying it in individual at the moment with economy for the aircon, normal for throttle and sport for steering. Someone suggested somewhere that they thought the economy setting was optimised for the official testing and not real world driving so figured I'd give normal a go to see if I could improve my mpg!
  11. I love the colour too. The police round here (Northampton) have an unmarked vRS mkii in that colour which I saw yesterday.... luckily not with flashing blues in my rear view mirror!
  12. Continental sport contact 2 on mine from the factory.
  13. Eventually you get a letter confirming it from suk. I chased mine up and finally received 2 copies of it on the same day. One dated 2 months before and one dated 1 month before!
  14. I drive mine pretty gently and I am struggling to get more than about 55mpg (real world not trip computer). I am finding it more economical trying to keep speed up above 70 than around 60. Hills destroy the economy completely. That is mixed driving and most of the longer motorway journeys are 4 people with luggage and aircon on.
  15. I went with the 32gb SDHC card in the end. Dragged and dropped my whole iTunes library which was 29gb and that was in the region of 5500 tracks with artwork!
  16. I don't need dual electrics, but £650 !!! Ouch I could hire a lot of skips or vans for that.
  17. Started looking at getting a towbar fitted to my Octy iii (just for small trailer for going to tip etc. ... for some reason I've suddenly got all sensitive about just loading the car up with rubbish! !!!) No towbar prep on the car, but that shouldn't be a problem. However I can't believe how much it looks like it's going to cost! Last time I had got one I think it was about £150 all in Incl fitting (was a while ago). Anyone got any recommendations. Towsure don't list one on website for the mkiii yet though I haven't tried ringing them. Looking to get a detachable one and really don't want any bumper cuts if at all possible.
  18. Not iPhone but with my Samsung galaxy s3 connected by bluetooth I can change tracks on the stereo (bolero) but changing album has to be on the phone.
  19. The only thing you have to be a bit careful of at the moment with the autoglym lifeshine treatment is that a lot of the independent detailers/valeters have recently (april i think) had their authorisation from autoglym removed. So they might still have the kits to apply but can't register the warranty. Worth checking cos a lot of guys still advertise on their websites who aren't registered now. I'm sure most independents do a far superior job to most dealerships, but if you want the warranty....
  20. http://m.computerworld.com/s/article/9238621/Mac_sales_growth_stalls_here_s_why_Apple_doesn_t_care Another spin on it from the same source back in April! What is the quote. .... there are lies, damned lies and statistics? ??
  21. Off original topic. ...I might be wrong but if i recall correctly I don't think Apple computer sales ARE in decline. Overall sales are still up. Sales % growth is in decline, but not as much as PC sales growth. ... both due to tablet sales where Ipad currently dominates. Apple is still increasing market share against PC but is still miles behind. ( i use both and have no axe to grind either way)
  22. Sad I know but just punched the codes into a decoder and got the following.
