  1. look at the pro race 1.3 no lettering on the outer rim
  2. With the MIB 1 v 2 the possibility is there for MIB 2 and a 15 plate car its very unlikely but possible as mine was at the dealer for a month waiting for the new plates to come out. (I did have a moment of madness and had a 15 plate but got them to deregister it so mine was a 15 plate MIB 2 for a few hours)
  3. 32 usually. 35 if i get stuck behind traffic on the usual routes. managed 42 on the motorway with lots of average speed camera road works or driving 60 on long straight roads with the cruise on. pretty solid 400 miles per tank using 97 or 99 fuel.
  4. What about the neuspeed rse 10 pretty similar with the correct everything as designed for VAG cars? https://www.awesomegti.com/search.php?search_query=rse10&section=product
  5. Not the OP but have the hatch with the same engine. If thats to the mpg question then depends on driving, driving in ireland (lots of 100km straightish roads) 4 up no problem, motorways are a similar situation. Welsh roads by me average 32mpg with spirited driving where possible stuck behind a camper at 40 with the occasional overtakes sees about 35mpg +
  6. tsi normal driving get about 400 miles from a tank
  7. Mines a 65 plate (2nd september registered was in a few weeks before that though) with MIB2 so yours should be, change over was around mid 2015. as above 2 SD slots in the glove box and no CD player.
  8. Another thing dont worry about the foam the weight of the bonnet will make a nice area for the struts to go foam seems to mould quite well.
  9. No problem. Just checked and the ones I ordered were 10mm so you should be okay with 12mm. No issues at all great mod.
  10. Yes I used the 25mm's in the end no issues with fitment.
  11. Ive got a setting on the maxidot to turn the lane assist on and off I think HBA was a paid option on the my16 vrs. Have you got the setting?
  12. got all the bits but ran into the same problem as above a double washer on the bonnect hinge sorts it but the bolt thread was a bit short so hopefully these will overcome the issue. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-10mm-BALL-STUD-BOLT-M8-x25mm-LONG-gas-struts-ball-ended-bolt-bonnet-hatch-/112180735777?hash=item1a1e7e2f21:g:-8UAAOSwImRYD0mF
  13. i had an 09 mk2(FL) now have a 15 mk3 vrs. never been in a mk1 superb so not sure sorry. with the drivers seat as far down as possible (rear as far as it will go) with the seat back its 120mm gap with the seat forward its 370mm. 59 plate seems to be when the FL came out but if the blurb was right take 20mm of the above should give you a good idea.
  14. yes. according to the blurb its about 20mm but there is definitely more leg room. with the drivers chair all the way back i can get a 5ft person behind me.
  15. the other way is to see what a dealer/ wbac would give you for the car you may make a bit back rather than just handing it over.
