  1. Autoglass did an excellent repair to the windscreen.
  2. Ours is 3 next year so this might be of interest was going to ask the dealer nearer the time
  3. 3.5mm on the rears at the moment, though the fronts at best are 4mm so think it's going be a set of 4 coming up....
  4. 65k on rears that's good, they are Dunlop tyres, if it wasn't wet I'd grab the tyre depth and see where they are at
  5. 4x4 140bhp hence my surprise I want to say Dunlop but will check, fronts have been changed
  6. Not the most exciting topic I could have started Our Yeti has now covered just over 47500 miles and is still on the original rear tyres, what's the most anyone has got before replacing rears, they still have a fair bit of tread left quite surprised how light on wear it seems on the rears. We are coming up to two years ownership in November and will have covered around 40k miles in that time Sadly we picked up a stonechip to the screen last night which is being repaired next week. Also just noticed the car is 3 in May so will need an MOT
  7. Made sure a full compliment of BB tracks on the iPod to listen to today in the car.
  8. The plumber that's how we do it and works well, as you say. It dearer but its orderly and doesn't rely on additional party. Just did a transfer from one car to another with the donor car getting a new plate as well all done end to end with v5's back in under 7 days was impressed.
  9. Thanks plumber and andyspan Interesting handbrake thread will see what are dealer thoughts, Andy I had considered glow plug issue how many are there and what is typical life span of glow plug.
  10. Light scoring on rear disc one side worse than other. Will get car to dealer for a check in the next week or so
  11. DaveLees I will have a look at the discs I've not really done any investigation just it doesn't feel quite right. Will report back.
  12. It's on the variable servicing plan so it's about 2.5k off its next service based on 18k ish interval. 5's not cold it started better in the snow and Ice!!
  13. Our yeti is 20 months old and 33k on the clock we have started to notice it not start so quickly when cold, it's fine once its warmed up, I wait for the glow plug light to go our but still isn't as fast to start as once was or when it's warm. The other thing the hand brake is really stiff. Going to both checked by the dealer but wondered if anyone else has had either of these issues with theirs?
  14. Recently noticed that when opening the drivers door of the Yeti after a rain fall water as pooled on the sill, and pours out when opening the door. It's going into dealer soon for some other warranty bits to be looked at. Has anyone else had this suspect it's blocked drain or something like that, had similar on a vw t5
  15. We bought the Yeti for mountain biking as it's flexibility means it's an easy way to transport bikes, used to live near some of the 7stanes Dalbeattie and Mabie but now nearer llandegla. Cannock is an hour or so away not been yet. I took part in the Coed y Brenin enduro yesterday choice of 30 or 60k I did 30k not fit enough to do 60k but pleased to complete 30k as it was tough. Maybe we need a forum mountain bike meet.
  16. Update have had both seat bases replaced so creases now gone, though in the process the dash has got damaged by the technician doing the job, so sorted one issue and got a new one.
  17. Glad my tip has been of use
  18. If you drop a couple of individual tracks in the root as in where the folders for albums are, you select an individual track from these Individual tracks and hit mix it will then random across all folders.
  19. I just had a situation through my own inappropriate driving and the off road engaged just sorted it it was amazing. Heading down a hill and stupidly I braked so four wheel lock up, then I just took my foot of the brake and nudge the gear lever to neutral and the electronics took over but it was simply stunning what the Yeti can do, no more skidding and in control of the car again all safe. So my advice would be if you have the off road button is give it a try in a safeish location, it's amazing how the electronics control the descent and that the accelerator when in neutral releases the brakes a little to increase speed if need be The only note I would add is once the desent levels off it turns it self out of that mode and its full speed ahead
  20. Nice you should get another chance to test the Yeti in the snow :-)
  21. Just been out to "test" the capabilities of yeti pretty pleased and the mrs wanted to see what it could do so we both had a bit of fun on new White snow, in around town and around an off road area. Now have a more confidence would like try a steeper hill and see how it goes. Rockhopper which bit of Scotland you heading too?
