  1. Yup....my month for taxing the car too.....rubbish aint it....
  2. Oh....most definitely.....super rare, and how often do they come along.... (Not that i'm trying to persuade you in any way lol)
  3. Cheers all.....its still available cntuning ;-) Yes, its very light for its size. I'll get a picture tonight of the areas that have a small crack in....a very simple fix for a bodyshop.
  4. I can get a picture tomorrow for you.....its just where the weave has cracked on the front lower leading edge corner, could easily be repaired with fibre glass or the equivalent prior to painting. As for the red i couldn't tell you i'm afraid.....sure someone far more knowledgeable than me will be able to tell you lol.
  5. Hey all, been away for a while, had to sell my lovely WRC VRS due to personal circumstances but still have my spoiler leftover which i thought I'd offer to you guys before the dreaded ebay. Below is my description from my previous ad. I have an original WRC Works Rally Rear Spoiler as fitted to the genuine Skoda rally cars of the day. This is made of Kevlar carbon, is very light and very rare, with there only being four left as they are no longer made….now use the fabia for rallying. You can buy cheap plastic replicas, but for the same price you could own an original. It needs painting if you want to fit it to your car as its currently red, and needs a small repair where there is a small crack, something which a bodyshop could easily do prior to painting, or you could just keep it as a bit of rare history to go with your car. These were about £4000 when produced, but all I’m asking is a paltry £250 ono.
  6. Now Sold..... Spoiler still available.....separate advert for that will be posted in the parts for sale section soon.
  7. You can get some very good replica ones for a bit less i think.....skoda were very pricey....not really worth it unless it upped the value by 2k..... No on Pistonheads too......would prefer a member to own it though http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4232070.htm
  8. Yeah, she's a beaut....a real privilege to of owned something like this....i'll miss her loads......but life has took me down another path where it needs replacing for something completely different....otherwise she would be getting kept. Turns heads pretty much everyday wherever i go.
  9. Up for a very regrettable sale is my 2002 Skoda Octavia VRS WRC. For those that don’t know this is one of a limited edition run of the very popular Octavia Vrs by Skoda to celebrate their 100th year in motorsport. For this reason there were only ever 100 made worldwide, of which 75 were LHD and 25 being RHD, so as you can appreciate this is a very rare car indeed…one of only 25 RHD versions ever built. When they were released they were fully laden in wrc graphics, however over the years owners have removed these either for personal preference of because they were fading. In some cases the dealership committed the ultimate sin and removed the graphics when brand new because they thought the car would sell easier, something which I’m sure Skoda would be very miffed to of discovered. Anyway, back to my car, here are the details… · 2002 Skoda Octavia VRS WRC Ltd Ed No. 78/100 · Mileage – 118,000 · MOT – 12 Months · Tax – End of October 2012 · Full Service History · 1.8T 180bhp engine returning a combined 35mpg….40+ on longer runs (Quick yet still economic) Has all the usual VRS extras with the addition of the following due to it being a WRC · Candy White Paintwork · Candy White Alloy wheels to match · Self-levelling xenon headlights (very bright) · Headlight Washers · ESP instead of ASR · Half leather interior with heated front seats · Front seats having the benefit of side airbags · Black Carbon effect B Pillar covers · Side rubbing strips removed · Skoda VRS kick plates · And an aluminium plaque on the dashboard stating edition number Additional extras · Genuine tailored VRS floor mats all round · CD player with 6 cd changer · 2 keys plus all documentation · Tracker fitted that just needs re-activating · Forge DV · Powerflow exhaust · Lowered on lowering springs · 2 brand new Uniroyal tyres to the front, good continental tyres to the rear · 5th alloy as a spare · Locking wheel nuts with the key present · Leather steering wheel and gear knob · New Skoda badges fitted · Legal pressed plates · Aero wipers · Skoda VRS motorsport plate surrounds · Climate control · Tracker fitted, just needs activating Overall the car is in very good condition. The bodywork is very clean and tidy, the front end does have some stone chipping, but it doesn’t detract from the look at all. The wheels aren’t too bad, but would benefit from a refurb if you wanted them mint. The interior is very clean, no wear to the seats, no horrible smells etc. There is one tiny cigarette burn on the carpet under the front seat, can’t see it, just being honest and this was from a previous owner as I don’t smoke. Also there are two small holes on the dash where a previous car kit has been fitted, although this is on a piece of trim that can be replaced not the actual dashboard, so can be rectified. It runs lovely, always warmed up properly before driving quicker, and allowed to cool down before turning off. I don’t think it has been remapped, has always been quick enough for me. It has had a recent new CV joint to the NSF, and new front top mounts and drop links this week. So to conclude, this is a very tidy VRS benefitting from being an extremely rare WRC model….it gets attention everywhere it goes. It has been well looked after and comes with all documentation, keys, locking nut etc…if it doesn’t sell before the MOT runs out it’ll be getting a new one as I know it’ll fly through. So come and have a look, and take away a piece of Motorsport history that you know you won’t see another one every day. I also have an original WRC Works Rally Rear Spoiler as fitted to the genuine Skoda rally cars of the day. This is made of Kevlar carbon, is very light and very rare, with there only being four left as they are no longer made….now use the fabia for rallying. You can buy cheap plastic replicas, but for the same price you could own an original. These were about £4000 when produced, but I’m asking a paltry £200 if purchased with the car, or £300 if purchased separately. Any questions feel free to ask. Asking Price of £3200 but am open to offers…. Location – Brownhills, Staffs WS8 7** Cheers, Stu. 07828 023015
