  1. I've just changed both off side door locks and can now lock and unlock all doors with the key fob. However, before putting it all back together, I've been testing all modes of locking and unlocking and getting some strange results. 1. Locking all doors with remote key fob - OK 2. Unlocking all doors with remote Key Fob - OK 3. Locking all doors with key blade in drivers door - OK - all motors operate. 4. Unlocking all doors with key blade in drivers door - Only unlocks drivers door - no motors operate. 5. Locking all doors with internal button - N/S doors lock - O/S doors lock and immediately unlock. 6. Unlocking all doors with internal button - N/S doors unlock - O/S doors already unlocked. I currently have the drivers window mechanism in an 'open' situation. Will this have an effect on operation? Any thoughts?
  2. Hi, Thanks for the reply. Some useful info, I was thinking it was a common problem. I decided to change the back door lock. Got it from ebay at 35.99 + £5.99 - it arrived next day. Getting the old one out was interesting!! Tried the Dremmel approach - the lock didn't release. Finally, hammer, chisel, blood sweat and some words of encouragement!! got it out in a few separate pieces. Putting the new one back in was pretty straight forward and the door lock is now working fine. I then decided to change the front drivers side lock assembly. Bought a new unit off ebay for £30 including P&P and it arrived next day (same supplier). Changing this was pretty straight forward. The locks are now working but there is some inconsistency. I'll start a new thread for that issue.
  3. I'm experiencing this problem too and have started a separate thread but this one seems to have a good selection of problems and solutions The key fob opens the near side locks and boot but does not open the offside locks, both don;t even make an attempt. Drivers door can be opened by turning the key, which also opens both the near side locks and boot. The rear offside cannot be opened at all - deadlocked. I have read lots of threads about what seems to be a common fault - Rear door becoming deadlocked. So I've got into the offside rear door but before I wreck the lock, I wonder if the front central locking issue and the rear locking issue are related. Is there a separate fuse for the offside central locking. Anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram? Alternatively, if i am to take a chisel to it, where do I aim the chisel? Any advice would be appreciated.
