HI WHY WOULD THE ESP LIGHT COME ON WHEN THE CAR GOES INTO LIMP MODE THE TURBO IS OVERBOOSTING SO THROWS UP THE HEATER COIL LIGHT BUT THEN THE ESP LIGHT COMES ON AND PERMINANT LIMP MODE FOR AGES NEEDS A NEW TURBO BUT WHY THE ESP LIGHT ??? WITHOUT THE ESP LIGHT I CAN KNOCK THE IGNITION ON AND OFF AND SHE IS OK BUT WHEN THE ESP IS ON NO GO PERMINANT LIMP ?? USUAL CODE PO238 CHANGED BOOST PRESURE SENSOR AIRFLOW METER ECT ? ANY IDEAS

It was the 1 on the bottom intercooler pipe

hi im having problems with my mk2 superb 1.6tdi error code p0238 turbo boost sensor circuit a I have replaced the sensor on the intercooler pipe and its fine until we have cold weather if the air temp drops below 4c the car will go back into limp showing the same error code glow light flashing and the skiddy car symbol in the top of the speed clock not the abs symbol but a bigger Samish type of symbol ??? any ideas why when its cold weather is there 2 boost sensors ?? any help please

Sorry guys haven't updated my info after 376k miles I retired the mk 1 got a mk2 61 plate 1.6 great car seats arnt as comfy as the old ones need a headlight though

hi does anyone have a n/s standard headlight for sale ? they wrote the car off for a headlight and wing lol no wonder insurance is high these days its not even a bi xeon light any help would be great

I have a mk1 superb I have no electric windows interior lights central locking also the indicators don't work and when I press the hazard light it just makes a buzzy sound with no flashing any thoughts its an 07 plate ?? many thanks

Hi are the front doors on the mk1 superb the same size as passat b5 doors ? I know the rears are bigger but need to know if the fronts are the same as I need a white front passenger side door if anyone has one let me know thanks . H

hi iv had the poxy dead micro switch problem on my passenger door locked solid and will not open iv tried all day to get it to open but no joy iv managed to get the door panel off enough to get to the lock mech just about but cant get the door to open iv pulled pushed all the bits I can get to short of smashing the **** out im lost ???? any ideas how to release the lock ?? thanks Hadrian...

I know a lot of the taxis used are octys and the turbos seem to go quite reg on them but for some reason not many superb turbos fail ???? make ??

mine is a 52 plate 100bhp 322 thousand miles same engine box turbo failed last night but appart from that all good usuall running svc parts clutch x3 disks pads cv joints suspention arms ect shes a good un by the way shes a taxi hence the milage lol..

HI all i think my turbo failed last night superb 100 tdi mk1 loss of power thick bluey white smoke noisey turbo im pretty good with the tools but woul you recomend me ripping the old one out and changing it myself proberbly 2nd hand turbo as she has done 322k miles (taxi) the turbo is quite easy to get to and mybe save me a few £££££ on garrage costs any help would be great thanks in advance... HI everyone new to the site i have a superb mk1 used as a taxi she currently has 322 k miles and the turbo failed last night well i think it is loss of power thick smoke and a rattely noise comming from turbo presume bearings shot ???
