Hello all. History car is Skoda octavia vrs 2008 tfsi estate bwa pfl 200bhp revo mapped. Pedal box. Oversize induction kit. R8 coils and iridium plugs. New updated pcv. New updated dv and dv plus. Cat back exhaust. New accelerator and throttle body. All the above in the last 9 months. Car has 77k New cambelt clutch. Pump coolant etc again all in last 8 months. Over the last few weeks I've noticed a very small Misfire. This got worse the other day but only when sat in traffic... Was ok when normal driving but felt as though it was missfire under load.. I scanned it that night and got the below codes OBD2 - pending: P0302 - Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected Engine: P1098 - Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Position Sensor (G336), Open or Short to Plus P3137 - Intake Manifold Runner Control, Basic Setting not Completed P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected P0302 - Cylinder 2, Misfire Detected Used Carista to get them So cleared codes swapped coil pack 2.. Seemed a bit better but then started missing again when stationery and under load. On way back home drove on motorway and overtook a car it missed on multiple cylinders and light on dash flashed then went off and I drove normally. I came off motorway and slowed down heard a clink clink sound unsure if from engine tbh but it then Misfired a lot and then went normal???.. Drove home OK.. Parked up still Misfiring now got below codes. OBD2 - pending: P0302 - Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected Engine: P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected P0302 - Cylinder 2, Misfire Detected Is this common..... Is it coil packs.. Or flap motor.. Or Intake Manifold. Wiring.. I'm hoping it wasn't flaps went ping???... Regards Ant

Hello . I've got a 2008 pfl vrs changed to bolero and now got facia and FL controls ready to be fitted. I can't fully decide from this thread if later cars are just plug and play or what wires need swapping or if I will have full functionality ?. Can anyone advise as looking to do this in next day or two

Hi all. Got an annoying fault on my 2008 vrs tfsi pfl bwa 200bhp. I've changed the pedal as showed a pedal fault first. Now put a replacement throttle body on (second hand). Drives okay until you put foot down and comes up with below fault?!!?. . Any ideas at all of other things to check or replace. OBD2 - pending: P0123 - Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit High Engine: P0123 - Throttle Position Sensor (G69), Signal too High I can reset codes and drive gently around but on a run or motorway etc comes back.. Hello , all wondering if you can point me in the right direction please . Octavia mk1 tdi 110bhp 53 reg , egr delete just fitted, and was mapped and egr mapped out prior anyhow , just had the turbo cleaned etc and was going into limp , was viens blocked etc . Now when test driven ( on boost I may add) , the lower pipe keeps popping off , I presume this is because the metal clips are worn ? ....see picture ( car is 53 reg lauren and klement) Anyone done upgraded pipe or hose , or to the plastic it goes into etc ? Self tapper in it for now and driving a little bit like miss daisy cheers ant

thought they were like the other vag though , its the electronics like the passat upto 53 doesnt need mapping out but 2004 onwards does ? ....I know there different engines etc though not sure ? Ant

Yeah I got an egr delete and it was crap ! lol ....as Eric Collins off facebook had no in stock , should of waited , now got this decent egr delete sat waiting to go on , when I can build up the courage again ! .... How and where/who does that smoke test ? Ant

As quoted in my original post ...... its been 1) Carbon cleaned ( whole engine) 2) Mr Muscled 3) Power maxed turbo cleaner 4) Egr unplugged 5) n75 boost regulator changed 6) hoses changed

Howdy all , so car is a mk1 2003 53 skoda octavia asv 110bhp estate lauren and klement Had a few issues a few months ago with it going into limp mode every other corner , since then changed the boost hoses to better silicone ones , changed the n75 for new one , from tps added a induction filter had it remapped ( subtle ) But to try and resolve the limp mode weve done the following- Full Carbon clean ( offical dealer) Egr unplugged ( and egr mapped out) FULL can of Power maxed Turbo cleaner and Mr muscle nearly full can Since this its ran perfectly no issues , but today , came drove about 40 miles came off motorway and onto another , put foot down on the slip road and it gets to 3k revs approx and went into limp mode again !???>....turned on and off and drove fine for another 80miles all mway , but again offf mway onto slip road , put foot down and limp mode !?? I cant think of anyother way of cleaning this turbo as if that didnt do the job surely its a new turbo time?? Anyone had this , what did you do ( bearing in mind turbo is part of manifold ?) cheers Ant
