  1. Doesn't look like you can get the 2.0TSi in the SE though.
  2. Virtual cockpit does look good doesn’t it! I expect them them to be around 33-35k after the usual discounts and a few options for the 2.0tsi that I want.
  3. Worth it for the dogs safety as much as anything. I have used Travall dog guards in several cars now and can recommend them.
  4. On video from Geneva. Last third of the video here. Best of all worlds imo. Proper painted bumpers, leather over suede inside. I’ll be ordering one of these once it’s on the system.
  5. Fair point! I thought I’d take a look at the Korean brands to see what they were like. I was amazed to find that the quality was much lower and the prices much higher!
  6. The problem is you are not able to get an equivalent car from a premium brand for this money! Trust me, I’ve looked!

    Dog guard

The Travall guard is good. We have it in our car with the raised boot floor. It still allows full access to the spare wheel.
  8. Yes me too. But, generally less sidewall will mean less compliance.
  9. Nor the bigger Wheel which will compromise the ride. I think the l&k will be the one to replace our Yeti.
  10. What car is that discount on? Best I saw with them was 12.9% for my spec.
  11. Local dealer has a Scout in so am going to try and take a look at that.
  12. Thanks for the replies. The point about the edition looking a little plain next to the scout and sportline is something I’d agree with. We have a Yeti at the moment and I like the look with the silver trims. Cost wise, with my options there isn’t a huge amount in it. The sunroof may get removed as it’s just so expensive, I do love a sunroof though! I am am going to try a dealer to see what they have in.
  13. Has anyone put time into comparing these three trim levels? I appreciate that they have different base options, but I'm curious to hear peoples thoughts on how they found the three. How did they feel? How was the suede finish seats in the sport and scout? Would they stand up to the rigors of children? I'm not too bothered by the blindspot functionality that comes in the edition and most of the options I would look to add are not standard on either model (towbar, sunroof, trizone climate, heated wheel and screen, canton)

    Service intervals

Thanks. I'll suggest he gets it serviced and has it changed at the same time.

    Service intervals

Thanks! Does he need to get it serviced or can he just ask the dealer to change it to Long life intervals?
  16. After some clarifications... I have a 2017 1.4 L&K it’s on 12.5k and indicates that it’s next oil service is in something like 400 days and another 3500-4000 miles. My Dad has a 2017 1.2 Dsg SE L, it’s on 8.5k and indicates it’s oil service is due in 400 miles! Am I correct in thinking my car is on long life intervals and his is on a fixed interval? Can he request to have it changed to Long life? Thanks.
  17. Been there with VAG group cars before and it caused no end of battles over the warranty. It's too easy for them to detect and then come out with 'computer says no'.
  18. I had a 2.0tsi for a few hours yesterday. Current family run about is a 1.4tsi Yeti l&k. Thoughts? It's got enough power for what it is. It would benefit from more torque which is a plus point for a diesel alternative, but for my use diesel isn't really an option.
  19. Had a 2.0TSI edition for a few hours yesterday with the black interior. If I buy one then I will definitely order the light interior. It was a bit dull all in black.
  20. Thanks. I definitely prefer the light interior. The problem is that as a family car mine would trash it!
  21. Keen to see some pictures of the interior. I'm trying to order the same as you (2.0TSI Edition) in either black or quartz and really like the light interior. Would you say it's more cream than beige? It's hard to tell the actual colour from the pictures I've seen.
  22. Having been through similar many times, when I replace our Yeti with a Kodiaq, I am going to learn from experience and pay the extra for a tow bar.
  23. Same as ours. Not bad cars. Engine is perfectly adequate.
  24. Easily. I'd go as far as to say you could fit two bike carriers on.
  25. Very valid point and yes, I could do that if I wanted. We're away for a week shortly so I'll see how it goes. I can decide properly then. I offered to get something like a F10 5 series Touring, but despite my dislike, my wife quite likes the Yeti!
