  1. Use Google translate and check this link: https://www.drive2.ru/l/498695594479452614/ I think that approach would be better, but still I have no idea did he retained original infotainment functionalities....
  2. Ugh.... I overlooked this... Superb II with panoramic roof had glasses storage box... :(
  3. Guys thanks for the information, it does help me to set my expectation. I have discovered that dealership made mistake, I have placed a correct order, importer and factory did everything right. Unfortunately, there were no possibilities to change the interior, ordering new parts was extremely expensive. I got additional 2% discount if I want to take delivered Kodiaq with black interior or to place a new order with original terms, without a courtesy car or any suggestion what to do until replacement Kodiaq arrive. I've contacted Skoda to ask about global policy for cases like this, and they told me to contact local Skoda representatives as they don't have that information. Looks like you have great customer care in UK, too bad you are driving on the wrong side of the road as I would buy one from UK I'll contact local Skoda Serbia to see if they can help, browsing rent-a-car options and trying to check with Nissan to extend lease a bit for wife's car and help me in meanwhile. BTW Beige leather is demanding and difficult for maintenance in the first year. If you are careful during that period, and you are applying recommended care products regularly, it does become more resilient and resistant later. After 7 years of beige leather in Superb, it's like a new without the single dent, discoloration, stain, etc... with 2 kids 3-10 years, dog, summer sea&salt, winter, campings etc... But forget about wearing dark jeans without having leather wipes during run-in period For me it is worth of effort as I do pay a lot of attention to car care anyway.
  4. They are OK with placing a new correct order, but nobody can commit to a delivery date. It might be 2-6 months or even longer. Initial build week will be known week after placing an order. The main problem is that I am without a car, as I sold mine as soon as this one arrived at the dealership. I've asked for a car on loan, but not sure what are Skoda policies, as this one is not broken or that anything is faulty with them. I am still waiting for them to get back to me with some idea how to solve this. Even if they offer small Fabia, it's ruined summer vacation as I need a much bigger car for my family. I sold Superb estate, which was fully loaded with the biggest Thule, full trunk, two kayaks, two kids and a dog... I was just hoping that someone had similar experience so he could help with an idea how to cope with this...
  5. Instead of being one of luckiest new owners of Kodiaq, I am going through hell. Yesterday they called me to see my Kodiaq, and I was shocked to discover it came in black leather instead in beige. I have no idea what to do now. They are sorry for mistake, they will order another one, but I sold my car already. Nobody knows wait time for Kodiaq, they didn’t know for this one either. On contract they always say up to 6 months. Do you think it’s possible to get beige seats and beige interior trim and replace it? The whole car is exactly what I have specified. If that is option, do you think I should go for it? I can’t wait long as I don’t have car for longer trips. Wife’s car is not sold yet, it will cover me in next weeks, but I have to sell it before April. I guess that’s the limit when I need to get new car.
  6. Hi guys, I am doing some research, time to replace Superb II. I am mostly confused with telephony options. I will have Columbus navigation, and I believe it comes with Bluetooth connectivity. But there are several additional options: 1) Comfort telephony with Koppelbox (wireless connection to the external aerial+wireless charging)+WLAN+rSAP+LTE 2) Comfort telephony with WLAN+rSAP+LTE 3) Media Command (Smart Link + Wireless RSE) I know that I have now rSAP and it doesn't work with iPhone, neither it will. What would I like to have is possibility to connect car to internet using my phone. 1) Which of this options will provide me with that? 2) Is there possibility to connect Skoda to my phone to use data, and act as WiFI hotspot for other passengers? 3) I am not that much crazy of having SIM card for car, but if I get that option, does then car provide wifi hotspot for occupants? 4) I have 4g Wifi modem, is there way to connect Skoda to wifi network of 4g modem or my phone (iphone hotspot)? 5) Does apple car play works wirelessly or only with cable? 6) Do I need Media Command to have Car Play or it comes with Columbus? 7) is there finally way to plan my trip, upload from phone and have it in car with routes, waypoints etc..? Other questions are regarding driving assistance: 1) Does Line assist and Blind spot assist means that I can have Travel assist as well ( road signs detection), as I don't see it in options? 2) Driver alert system, how it works? Is that just stupid timer to tell you you need break or something more? 3) Personalisation of drive mode selection? If I have seats with memory, doesn't it mean that I have this or I need this in order to seat memory works? 4) Are ventilated seats little bit better integrated or is it still separate switch detached from car computer? I guess too much questions, don't expect that someone know all, but hopefully I'll collect all answers Thanks
  7. How i can check if I have that Fridge line or not? I bought superb with tow bar preparation, and then Skoda dealership installed towbar... they didn't had idea even which parts to order... how I can check if they did good job with that fridge line?
  8. Just to be sure that we are not talking about the two different things, here is photo what I have: Uploaded with ImageShack.us This clothing trim is exactly like smallest battery that I have: 242x175x175. So I don't see how I can just fit plastic cover without having two other plastic parts to support it.
  9. I have your part number for cover, but there are two more parts for side protection that are intended to be used with cover. When I remove cloth trim, I would need those two side parts as well so I could mount cover on top of it. I had that part number with me (3C0 915 443 A), and dealer found it in their software, but they were clueless what other two side parts are match for that cover. They told me that they don't know how to associate cover part with side parts without correct VIN number. They were trying to convince me as well that I just need same type of battery, but I believe the car is under powered. 61Ah for 140ps 4x4/DSG with almost all gadgets is really not enough. Now after 2 years it shows first signs of wear which shouldn't happen.
  10. I need bigger battery, and this cloth trim is made for 61Ah battery 242x175x175. First next size of bigger batteries are 290x175x175 (74Ah) and 290x175x190 (77Ah). So clearly new batteries wont fit in current cloth housing. Other Superb owners who have bigger battery as standard, have plastic housing. I don't mind having any bigger housing as I don't think it is much important. But as I am within warranty I just want to play by the book and avoid troubles.
  11. I am the one of the less fortunate Superb owners with 61AH battery, and it is not in plastic housing, it is in some sort of cloth/cardboard box. Mine problem is that after two years I am having difficulties starting car, and I want to replace and upgrade battery. I need to upgrade battery housing to largest possible version, and the easier part is to find best battery that can fit in. I have been to my dealer, and all he could offer me is to replace parts. When he enters my VIN number he gets list of the parts for my model (2011 140HP 4x4/DSG), but I need different parts. When he just list all parts he gets at least three sets of different plastic housing parts (each consists of three parts), so he is unsure which parts are for one sets. I believe he is not very experienced, and he showed me how that lists looks like in their software, with drawing on left side, and huge lists on right. Can someone help me to determine what are part numbers for biggest plastic housing for battery that will fit in Superb? If I can provide him with correct set of part numbers I would be able to order them.
  12. How it works? Or better does it works at all? I know this is cheaper ABS/ESP version, but I haven't noticed that they TPM works. Last weekend I have been checking tire pressue, adding 0.2-0.5 bar to all four tires. I forgot to press and hold TPS button but never got warning that pressure changed. Anybody seen thos working?
  13. I got these http://autoz.auto-partner.net/data/ipacs/at/produktbilder/int/12912820616623t9071316.jpg from superb accessories (3T9071316). It folds down nicely
  14. +1 Seating base could be longer as well, but I would be OK with the first. That would solve all my problems with seating
  15. I have Superb Estate 4x4 with Tow bar preparation. I've asked dealer for original Skoda tow bar, and they gave me quote for 300 EUR. I saw online that there is some kind of Electric kit, which is advertised as something needed for tow bar. Do I need that as well, or that part was included in Tow bar preparation when I have ordered car?
  16. Superb Scout should debut on Geneva auto show in march. The question is will be there 170PS/4x4/DSG variant, or just 140PS
  17. I am smallest and I am unpleasantly close to the roof. I am 185, I did had problems finding the best seating position and don't thing that I found ideal position at the end. Mine problem is that in order to have most comfortable leg space, I have to be in too upright position in order to reach steering wheel. That makes less than 5 fingers headroom space. If I could pull out steering wheel little bit further, I could recline backrest a little bit and have more comfortable headroom space. I have never checked back seat height. Also I drove Superb without panorama roof on highway and I noticed it is quieter than mine. But spacious feeling is priceless. I would never order plain version! I would rather sacrifice 4x4 or DSG...
  18. I just had subzero experience on -16C. I have heated washers and -20C wash fluid with added Sonax concentrate to boost to -35C. I had no problem with front washers, but rear one gave up after 2hrs travel. The biggest annoyance were front and rear wipers. If you are traveling trough blizzard, and someone in front of you drive less than 50km/h, snow start to melt when touches windscreen. However since it is -16C, it freezes up on the sides of windscreen and eventually catches to wipers. Once ice starts forming on wipers, you are done. It starts leaving smeary patches that eventually spread on whole windscreen. You have to stop, clear them from ice, and continue. However if you are able to travel more than 50km/h, it is too cold and any icy or wet marks on windscreen disappear after while. Snowfall wont stick to the windscreen at all, and you won't need any need for wipers. It is critical just when you stop. The less you use wipers and quicker you get to above 50km/h, bigger chance is that you won't need wipers at all, no matter how big snowfall is. Otherwise, plan to stop every 15 minutes to clear ice. I am not sure do heated windscreen prevents this, but I know that Superb should have heaters in lower part of windscreen where wipers are in "park" position. I noticed that on Subarus, Volvo and few other cars. It should prevent forming ice on wipers. I felt so annoyed overtaking all cautions FWD cars, just to be overtaken when clearing wipers, again and again... I also had "broken" headlight washer experience. When I stopped, I just saw chrome part, dangling in front of headlight. Probably it instantly froze at higher speed, and never returned back. I use defrosting spray, and it got back after next activation. But it does look ugly.
  19. I had coolant warning on few times. I went to dealership, and they actually showed me that level is normal (but closer to minimum), but when engine starts it drops on minimum. Then they opened lid and hissing sound of vacuum could be heard. He sipped a little bit of coolant, and I never had problem again. But since your problem repeats, coolant has to go somewhere :(
  20. +1 More than some Skoda representatives knows...
  21. I had option in congfigurator to add electrical heating (7E6 code - 165 EUR). When I asked dealer, he explained to me that heater is for engine not for cabin. Later I found here same information that there is option for having electrical heater for cabin. After already getting my Superb I have again tried with my dealer to check is it possible to have something like that. They asked official importer for Serbia and told me again that electrical heater is for engine only, to help to warm up engine in low temperatures. I guess it helps warming up cabin as well... My daily office commute trip is 2 miles, I don't even see engine warming up at all during cold mornings. Can someone check: 1) What is option 7E6 code? 2) Can it be retrofitted? 3) If it is engine heater and not cabin one, does it make difference to cabine temperature? This does not have anything to do with Webasto or auxiliary independent heater.
  22. It is worth trying... Dealer might return money if they are able to sell car on schedule. But it depends on dealer. Mine friend gave up on Volvo c30 as facelift appeared while he was waiting. He canceled and bought BMW. After year, they sold car he ordered and gave him half of deposit.
  23. I have ordered 4x4 DSG 140PS, Estate with 225/45/17 Trifid wheels, and I got 205/55/16 regular steel spare. Everything is the same as with non 4x4 version. I just don't know is there tunnel under middle seat in 2nd seat row. 4x4 does have that
  24. Great... I'll upgrade to Columbus, just to find right version on eBay
