  1. Cheers. Will check when they open next week. I suppose q and a are close together on a keyboard so could be an error. Probably change the main stat and will post the outcome. Thanks to all. Steve
  2. Any idea what the revision could be. QA doesn't show up on any search. Don't know wether to have the unrevised part put in or the main thermostat changed (or both). Thanks for all the replies. Steve
  3. Hi. Had a look at the part but can't see the number. It was £27 for the stat. Might have to change the main thermostat as well. Seems OK in outside temperatures above 5 degrees but struggles below that. Steve
  4. Thanks for the quick replies. Temp never varied from 90 degrees until a few months ago. Will have look at the part when it stops raining to see if there a number. They still have the old stat and hopefully the bag the new one came in but not open till the 4th. Steve
  5. Hi All. As the title suggests I have had the symptoms of a failing 2nd thermostat. Got the part number from this forum and after a bit of double checking took the part number to my independent garage for them to change. So far so good. The part number should be 1K0121113A but on checking the invoice the part they put in has the suffix QA. They say they got this from the main dealer and is a genuine part. Still getting problems. The car heats up quicker but struggles to reach 90 degrees and the temp fluctuates as before. An internet search and a search on this forum shows no result for a 1K0121113QA. Question is have they put in the wrong part or is there another problem? Car is a 2013 FL 2.0 Diesel so CFGB engine (I think) and 6 speed DSG and has had water pump changed recently and gearbox oil changed. Thanks in advance. Steve
  6. Thanks. I found that site a bit confusing but am getting to grips with it now. When the car is sorted I might put the AB loom for sale on here. Appreciate your help. Steve
  7. Hi. So the AB loom would be for a pre face lift model. Thanks. Steve
  8. Thanks. Looked at that but couldn't find it. Had another look and think its 3T2971121AP. The one I ordered had AB at the end but that one isnt on the list for that site so I dont know what the difference is. Thanks for the reply Steve
  9. Hi all. Can anyone tell me the part number for the front passenger door wiring loom?? Ordered one from skoda-parts.com but a plug for the central locking is different despite checking the VIN number. The car is a 2013 facelift Superb estate with the standard sound system 2.0 diesel. If its any help the part number for the drivers door is 3T2971120DF. replaced that OK but now the passenger one has gone. Any help appreciated. Steve
  10. Thanks for the replies. Had a look at the passenger window and without taking anything apart the runners seem ok. Was thinking of having the passenger door wiring loom replaced anyway as the drivers loom failed a while ago. Looks like a trip to my local independent garage. Many thanks for your answers. Steve
  11. Hi All. Got a strange problem with my door mirrors. A few days ago they wouldn't fold in so did the trick with resetting the windows and they worked ok. Went for a drive and tried to fold them in by holding the key fob and they wouldn't fold in again. After a bit of experimentation I find if I hold the passenger window button in the up position for a few seconds they work OK. (when doing this the window doesn't move ). I have to do this everytime I want the mirrors to fold in. The only thing I have noticed is the passenger window closes slower than the drivers window. Had a new drivers door loom fitted about 3 months ago but this problem has only started in the last week. I could live with the problem but am curious to know what it is. Any ideas. Thanks in advance Steve
