  1. Bump Price has changed £5500 ono I am going to be away until the 12/4 and on that weekend I will fully valet the car re-install the balero radio. I will have to have one of the alloys repaired as I hit a pothole a while ago but it is on the winters listed above. There is no finance on the car and it has 12 months MOT and tax until 08/13 The mileage is now 124500 ish
  2. I have a 2009 Balero spare since I changed mine to a DAB headunit
  3. Don't really want to sell but my company are stopping us using private cars for company travel. So here it is: Feb 2009 Anthracite Hatch Octavia VRS CR Limited Edition No.119 113333 Miles (mainly motorway) owned since 35000 miles Full Ltd Ed. leather interior, climate control, cruise control, CCTuning stage one upgrade (200 BHPish) New disks all round Cam belt and water pump done 22/10/12 IO Play bluetooth handsfree/music streaming I have just fitted an RCD-310 dab radio but it needs the antenna sorting (which I will do) or replace with the Balero if not required, if the DAB is left in an new surround need to be bought I will also throw in my Thule aero roof rack I also have a set of 16" steels with new Michelin Alpin A4 which I can do a deal with the car There is a couple of very very slight dints and scratch in the rear passenger door. Price £7800 I still have finance on the car and I am selling with the price to reflect paying off what I owe skoda_octavia_vrs_limited_edition.pdf
  4. http://octavia-vrs.com/cms/content/mfd2-install-guide should have the part number you need
  5. Perfect thanks, I guess I will order one when I go and get the code for my balero.
  6. I fitted my RCD310 to day and the front is smaller than my Balero, I have a pre FL but with FL interior. Any ideas on where to get a new facia?
  7. I just bought a rcd-310 dab £125, birthday prezzie from the missus so I guess I will have a balero for sale soon. Cheers Greenstripe
  8. Not a bad shout, new one have black with white text but don't look as nice as the balero, new on fleabay £205 BIN or some for auction around £50 at the moment
  9. This is a place worth looking at http://www.dabonwheels.co.uk/
  10. I am thinking of getting this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skoda-Fabia-Octavia-Yeti-AutoDAB-Digital-DAB-Car-Radio-Interface-Adaptor-/350570962299?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item519fa85d7b&_uhb=1#ht_3146wt_1378 they sold it in Halfrauds but it doesn't seem to be there any more, just need to add a decent aerial.
  11. I have a fuel card and use my vrs for work and I get paid mileage from my company, I do still have to pay for the fuel but it doesn't have to come directly out of my pocket and I have no benefit in kind because I pay for everything. I get £0.40 for the first 10k and £0.25 for every mile after and my tax code has been adjusted to 8105 because of the short fall of £0.05 my company don't pay for the first 10k. D
  12. I lived there for about six months a few years ago and its a good place for a few beers and during Christmas there is usually lots of office parties, 3hrs15mins will be only if you drive like a granny, I have done Amsterdam in 2hrs
  13. I think the FL has the dimming built into the ECU as my LE has the same ECU and has a setting to turn them on/off if fitted
  14. I ran my common rail Mitsubishi L200 on B100 with no problems, just had to change my fuel filter after a few 100 miles as bio is a natural de-greaser and cleans all the crap deposited by dino, only way to run on pure veg is to have it pre-heated to make it viscose enough before it enters the injectors. Older cars are less likely to be able to run on bio/veg as it eats rubber seals fitted in earlier engines.
