  1. Stock felly have at the rear usually 1°of negative camber. Im using 20mm spacer with additional 2° of neg. camber and its working fine. Tyres are worn less than on the front. Bolts are class 10.9 and i didnt care about the angle cause bolt spacer i used is quite soft so it deformed. On the other end i dont recommend bigger negative camber on the rear without mods to the front axle, understeer will massively worsen...
  2. TeflonTom: congrats and im looking forward to seeing some awesome stuff Your speaking about top mount. There are many "already made" solutions. If your searching just for camber setting best is to build something like that: In Czech republic you can buy one for 1000 CZK, its about 36 quids. Better solution is, as djaychela mentioned, eccentric one. I thing that getting as big caster as possible is even more important than getting few degrees of camber. I cant decide what to buy first whether upgrade top mount or engine to 1.4 mpi Price in CZ is 2000 CZK for a piece. PS. both top mounts are for felly
  3. I used KIA ones as you did. They fitted perfectly and brake pad is lined with brake disc, thats better than with Renault version. For others: Did you know that Scorpio till 1992 (or so) used M10 bolts for mounting brake caliper brakets, everything else is the same as for Mondeo. With KIA discs its plug&play.
  4. I like the idea of ECO felicia. But to make it much more fun, make it middle-engine and rwd. Engine can be even felicias-one or some alloy 1.0-1.4. I would start with reducing the weight of felly. I know about race car which have 650kg. Can you beat it? Such a car has power-to-weight ratio better than 90% of cars even with some 100hp engine... On the other hand you can do some luxurious felly with turboed 1.9, all electric, air conditioning, ABS, 4xbags and so on. I personally prefer light-weight car
  5. isjakar: 1.4 have better crankshaft and reinforced block, so its better to start with. On the other hand, it isnt direct fit into felicia and its better to equip it with felicia 1998+ head. So if you have wrong access to Skoda engines use felicia´s one. In general 1.4 have much bigger strike, so its less likely to rev but adds nice amount of torque. Best is to order cam and ECU from MotorExcel. They will ship it to u, but i cant serve with price. Write them Only with cam and ecu u get60kw at the flywheel. About head porting, if you know what to do, do it, but its pretty easy to make it even worse. Maybe save some money. If you can can get exhaust from Skoda Favorit with carb, use it. U will need only second part of exhaust manifold to add there nut for lambda probe (1. is same as for felicia) and favorit middle part with first silencer. I recommend to replace silencer with pipe or catalyst. Its cheap and work nearly as good 4-2-1. Saved money is good to spend on headworks As i know mpi is much better than SPI, especially after mods. Other stuff i meant matching head with exhaust manifold and air intake, skimming head, polishing the valves and other stuff to do. Im not engine specialist, so theres a lot i dont know...
  6. Great job! I have same callipers ready, but i wass planing to use Renault discs which needed to drill the center bore cause its 61mm. Your solution is much better. Im looking forward to read about driving experience and if its fine im going to buy one.
  7. Nice talks guys. I speak czech, so i have better access to informations. For reaching about 100 HP at flywheel you need at least: - CAM, i recommend from Motor Excel - ported head, compression bout 10,6 - ECU program. In fact you cant flash ecu, u need to physically change the chip with new one - well made exhaust 4-2-1 - working cold air intake/upgrading original one with better filter - other minor changes round engine Than you can get something like that: http://felicia.zasah.cz/obrazky/vykon.jpg Limits are set much further, the problem is ecu program and the fact that original crank doesnt like revving. Good is to change bottom end from Fabia 1.4 mpi engine after small mods. I know about 100-110hp 1.4 engine on A-carb with upper described mods and 110hp 1.5 engine using still Simos2P. Actually ecu is quite restrictive for that engine. None of them is using bike TB...
  8. Hello to all Skoda guys. I discovered this forum few months ago and definitely its worth joining Im from Slovakia (quite far from Britain), but maybe i´ll see you once
  9. There are few options to encourage felicia to oversteer. 1)worsen rear-end grip fit it with rear ARB, better is doubled ARB use old rear tyres (as you did) get as much trunk load as you can 2) improve front-end grip (thats better option) get rid of front ARB, if you have one get some negative camber (2+°) get some caster (need serious geometry changes) widen front axle get semi-slicks
