Road tyres for me also. They had to rebuild Camp Corner for 2 hours after that.

Early is best. Less chance for the day to be disrupted by teenagers stuffing their car into the tyres at Camp Corner...

It's great fun but will do what I did with the Megane. Take it easy and go at my own pace. Understood. Will pay for club stand at the gate. Waiting to hear back from Tomia.

Running a Lotus 240 now. I'll PM Tomia. How much is the track day pass and how much is the car and driver pass? Can I get the car and driver pass from you on the day Jas? Prefer to run with you guys because usually no muppets going around the track like on other sessions.

I had to catch a flight at Gatwick so had to leave at 2:30pm ish. Delays just killed it for me. Well gutted :( Videos and pics are great as usual. Was nice meeting everyone again.

Yes they are. Get them 10-15 minutes before your track time as they are rented for an hour @ £5 a time.

Did you guys get lanyards for your tickets this year? Got a sticker too. Forge trying to make an effort. Megane stand is in the centre as you come in on the Chippenham Road gate this year. Renault's won't be causing trouble

Boss is going on his GTR in two sessions. If 3 us go in those sessions then that's only another 25(?) people who could cause us trouble. :wonder:

They don't teach 0-60 times and vehicle recognition on Advanced Driving Courses then? OP was hardly brimming it. Then again speed is relative, and the Golf was relatively slow both in speed and reaction time....

Funny really. I've owned a Skoda and a Renault yet I've had no problems with either of them. Yet I hear the 135i has had it's fair share of problems...how ironic.

It's definitely Q car material until you open it up. Interior struck me as being nice and I'd have to have it with the crazy 10" screen. I really expect the interior to impress me. The whole key thing just doesn't bother me. Partly because I'm in a quiet cul-de-sac.

I know the looks are a little marmite (infact they're not, you either don't mind them or you hate them) 4.9sec, 38mpg, 175 g/km are astonishing in my eyes for a 3.0L twin turbo. I'll be looking at finance packages and offers just to see what's on offer. It's a hatch but nobody classes it as a hot hatch. So what is it? Reviews are very good as well. That's not official though is it. They've just ripped the steev 19" wheels, L.E.Ds and colour from Megane Trophy. Looks very good though. 5 track days and 5k miles and I've had no problems with the Megane. French build quality holding up!

Is it permanently a safety car at Rockingham or just there for a little spell? Lucky to see such a limited car.

Is that the new developments near the Hospital mate? As long as your not near any of the roads going around there then it's ideally located. Good access to A4, Hospital and Town Centre. Even better, your within touching distance of the awesome Thatcham!
