It has def. used the oil. It is still under warranty so wanted to know if anyone had any experience of what Skoda do a bout it.

I have done 1k mls in my 1.8 TSi and added 0.6l of oil is this normal for this engine and if not will warranty cover it?

2010 1.8 TSi Octavia 2 My low oil warning lamp came on after about 2000 mls from service which had been done at around 7000 mls.I am the second owner so not sure why service was done at 7000 mls. Is this oil consumption normal - seems v high to me? My previous car a Saab 9000 never used oil between services. Love the car ideal Saab replacement, faster, quieter, more economical better equipped and automatic

My dealer has version 7 DVD is this the latest one and do i need to remove my music and stuff before they update it? They seemed a bit clueless. Vehicle is Octavia 2010 1.8 Elegance if that matters.

According to Skoda High Command if your car is still under warranty upgrades are free.
