Had a look at the pictures for a new regukator and it appears as though my clips are broken. I can see the cable at the top of the door and it doesn't appear to be attached. Are the clips easy to replace? Jack

I have read the excellent how to on the website but i'm not too sure which bit i need to buy. The passenger window would not come up. I have manually got it in place with a wedge but i'm not sure which bit is broken. The motor still turns freely and the cable looks in good order. The regulator appears to work coming up and down. Do i just need the clips as apparently they break as they are made of plastic or do you think i need the whole regulator? Has anyone had to pay to get this sorted and got a rough guide to what it would cost? Even though i have the how to it does look a bit complex with the drilling of the rivets and removal of the door card etc. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Jack

My Emission light has come on and i have read the how to guide but i need to get the codes read before i go and buy the various parts it could be. Anyone near Berkhamsted would be ideal or i don't mind a bit of travelling. Yours hopefully Jack

Has anyone else got the problem that the traction control light keeps coming on. I thought it was after all the bad weather going over pot holes it jolted something. I've been told that it could be the ABS sensor and if it is can this be changed by me or is it a main dealer visit. I can't really give any more symptoms really sorry. Jack

In reply to post 1 the car wouldn't start again. I will try the jump leads when i get in. I think i got a new battery only last year so i'll look for the receipt if it is that. Cheers for all the advice. Jack

Posted this in the newbie section earlier and was advised to post it here. Just joined and the car is actually my girlfriends not mine. It is however brilliant but does have a few problems. Started the car this morning (very cold) and let it warm up for a few minutes, giot in the car and the steering wheel lamp stayed on and there didn't appear to be any power steering. Turned the car off to see if that reset it and then the car wouldn't turn back on. Just wondering if this is a common problem as apparently it happened last year. The car is a 2006 and has been serviced regularly. It's only done 38K.
