  1. Yeah, my own stupid fault not asking for one to be done. Keep your eyes on eBay because it'll be on there after April the 10th
  2. Apologies yes it was tested August 2013
  3. Things like screws missing on the bumper, it's not aligned correctly
  4. Mot was dated August 2014. He's kept up with his it was sold as seen line
  5. Course I paid 6100 with 39000 on the clock, a fair price when I researched it, not the cheapest but not the most expensive example available at the time. He had been the keeper for over 2 years and yes, he was the registered keeper at the address I viewed the vehicle at
  6. Failed the MOT in June 2014 since that date I contacted the court and started a money claim, but I'm sure as some of you are aware these things take time with the courts. I had a DEKRA vehicle check done on the vehicle which returned the vehicle as 'unsatisfactory', it's now up to the judge.
  7. It's a criminal offence to sell an unroadworthy car this is correct, however because it's a county court case this matter cannot be dealt with at county court. Vehicle was purchased April 2014, covered around 200 miles in it. No work has been done with it since I've owned it.
  8. Yeah, that's what my understanding of this type of thing is. Think it'll be going on eBay as an MOT failure
  9. Yeah private seller, just keeps saying it was sold as seen. Full hpi check has been done came back with no issues.
  10. These are the Fails; Front brakes imbalance across axel Offside headlamp aim too low Near front vehicle structure has an inadequate repair Offside rear shock absorber has a fluid leak Near side front anti roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover excessively deteriorated Near side front steering system has a tyre fouling a part of the vehicle It was sold with a six month old MOT, that was done at a local garage. I had it done with Mazda after I purchased it, stupid I know and I accept that's my fault. I personally believe it's been crashed and bodged back together and sold
  11. Right to cut a very long story short, the mps I bought basically turned out to be a steaming pile of you know what. It does require 6k of work, I'm not making this up. I've had to live with the stress and annoyance of this happening to me. I'm going to county court again next month to try and get the money back but after my first court visit I fear the worst, so I'm trying to do some planning for it. The 6k includes a lot of body work including chassis work, it also needs various mechanical items repairing. I was just hoping for some advice. Cars done 40k. Do I scrap it, try and sell it whole but with the buyer aware or sell it for parts.
  12. My 2007 Mazda 3 Mps has failed its MOT and needs approximately 6k worth of work doing on that I cannot afford. My question is what do I do now? I'm in no major rush as I've got a new lease vehicle. What are my options, scrap, sell for parts or sell as a whole vehicle but making sure the buyer is aware of its history. Any advice is appreciated.
  13. I'll now be looking for £6995, many thanks, I've edited the original thread
  14. Cars now back standard, will update pics tomorrow.
  15. Car is going back to standard next weekend, so if you're interested let me know.
