Thank you MartiniB. I downloaded the Turkey map from the link that you gave. And than i extracted the files directly to my my usb-c stick which i formatted to exfat. Possibly i will find time to try this new data to columbus next saturday and i will share the outcome.

Also, i plug the usb stick to car’s usb-c port and although i plug a stick only full of map date if i push media button it behaves like it is a blank stick; that is to say it say no media file.

I tried both exfat and ntfs(there is no option for fat 32), but did not work. I extracted the file that i downloaded from skoda update portal into new folder and file structure became a main folder and subfolders in that main folder. I both tried with main folder and the subfolders are in main folder and i tried just copying subfolders without a main folder but it did not help. Maybe if i put photos regarding file structure it help to clarify my situation. Unzipped file:

You are right but it was the only thing that i did not try.

Is your columbus mib 2 or mib 3?

I do not have a notebook or computer now, in a few days i will return to home and at that time i will share photo.

I tried several times again. Below you will see photos from columbus. If i press software update then comes updates screen but whatever i choose there happens nothing. And as you see on the final screen there is nothing. So i can’t do any update there. If i hold the menu i enter the service mode. I press software update and there comes a warning saying that start update. If i press this button it brings me to red enginerring menu. I press update but again there is blank screen, there is nothing on the screen. And surely i plug the usb to car and even i wait for 2 hours there happens nothing, the version is still same. So i can’t update the map whatever i try. How can update? What am i doing wrong?

Thank you Danoid. I tried that. I inserted my usb and waited. I waited for a while but there is no process. But when i be available i try again the method you said.

Hi MartiniB. First of all thank you for your reply. The unit is columbus and mib3. I checked the official update portal and entered the my car’s VIN. The search resulted in newer version of the map and the name of the version is MRM TUR 2024/2025, name of the it is “OI_P119_MRM_TUR_202425_offline_update.zip”. The portal says that it is valid since cw 25/2024. I downloaded the map data and transferred to usb c device. So, there is no problem until this time. If i enter the navigation setting there is only 3 submenu, but the others that i saw in the youtube have 8-10 submenu. I think my main problem is that they have “version info” submenu and they make updates by means of it. I do not have a “version info” as a submenu of navigation settings. So i cannot update the map whatever i do.

Hi all. I have a problem regarding columbus map update. Below i will share photos. Briefly i searched here and youtube for learning the process. But I cannot update the map because the screens that i see and mine are different, that is to say my columbus update sub menu is missing and for that reason i connot update whatever i do. Can you look at the photos please? If anyone encountered a problem like this , can share the solution? Thank you.

Hi again. Because i did not want to start new topic, i continue to write here. I have 2 images which i will add, again trip computer and columbus shows different values. As you will see trip computer shows "140" kms/ph and columbus shows "130" kms/ph. How are they get these inormations which are contradictory and from what they get these speed values. I guess trip computer get the info from traffic sign recognition system and nothing else. But i think the columbus get the info from another sourse. Is there any way to see these values always the same values? Of course these shows the same value for sometimes. And i want to learn about the system which manage the system if there is anybody who can explainç These are the images when the car is on same position and speed info should be "140"; the information coming from trip computer and the speed info is wrong on the columbus.

I could not make the test that i thought because there needed 2 drivers and 2 cars and i could not find second driver to make the test. But, yesterday without causing a danger for anybody i found an opportunity. My speed was araund 30 km, acc was engaged, traffic lights were approximately 80-100 meters away, a car was stationary, car detected the other car, and acc started to make car speed decrease by means of auto braking. It was not a sudden and disturbing stop; and I have to say that everything in this case did not cause any danger or problem. Of course the speed was very low and i always took the precauitions and i was in a position that when needed i could take the control quickly. Briefly, everything was as i supposed and the system operates perfectly. P.S.: These are my experiences, so if you try this and there happens problem i do not take responsibility.

I am really sure that it worked for my car. Even in the traffic jam it stops and move into completaly stationary position and if the car in front of the car it moves if it happens in 3 seconds automatically, buffer to buffer. My experience is if there is a car in front of me and stationary it brakes and stop completely. I do not think that i am confused. But, i will test this 2 situation as soon as possible and share the results. Thanks to everyone who replied the topic.

I noticed today that when the other cars stationary at the traffic light, my car does not brake automatically. If i did not press brake pedal, car would hit the car in front of me. But, when my car moves on the road, the system works perfectly. I only choose speed and after that my car accelarete or decelerate; in compliance with the traffic when needed. I always use the same settings for the assistances, i do not change anything. When i came to work i controlled the settings and everything was marked as it should be. There is no warning light or warning voice. Is there anyone who has experience or information for the problem?

By the way how can i learn whether my camera appropriate or not?

Sometimes value on the navigation screen do not change for a while, so sometimes it does not work well. But, value on the trip computer is more dynamic, so nearly all the time it shows true value. Both the map and software are up to date. Is this normal the different speed values for trip computer and columbus navigation screen?

Hi. As you know if lane assist turned on system requests intervention from user every 10 seconds. Is there any way to increase intervention time maybe for every 1 minutes or totally cancel it? Thank you.

Hi. I have a problem with TSRS. The speed value on trip computer and on the columbus screen are different. That is to say, when the value on the trip computer can be “120” but on the columbus navigation screen can be “140” or “120” or “110”. The values are sometimes the identical. I am using latest map and software. What can be the problem and how can i solve the issue?

@Tell As you advised, i downloaded 25.23 mib 3 map which is vw release and from MartiniB' post. But, because the weather conditions are very harsh here,i will load the map when the temperature becomes reasonable,

@Tell Thank you for your reply. I am doing it offline as you said. As far as i understand, there is no mib 3 map belongs to November 2023 and i should wait for new map for mib 3. It seems that 25.23 version is the latest map which is usable for me. So, i will try @MartiniB map and load as soon as possible.
