  1. Hi. Don't know if you've fixed your problem yet but I had a similar problem as you with my 2009 Octavia 1.9pd. a couple of years ago. Problem went on for over a year till I found the cause. Parking the car pointing downhill used to help. Was convinced it was fuel running back to the fuel tank over a few hours. Garage found no fault codes. I posted on here asking for help. Like you I replaced the heater plugs. I also replaced the pickup fuel pump under the rear seat and the Tandem fuel pump. Also replaced the Fuel Temp. Sensor. All to no avail. Turned out to be a faulty injector. Been running fine this past year. Good luck.
