  1. Somehow i don't think so but as pete said a poke in the eye is likely lol
  2. opened my boot for the first time in months the other day and realised i need some new struts when it nearly came back down on my head haha
  3. A little late to this but as pete said we still allow camping, just the static caravans will be gone
  4. See normally i would have to charge for my time as having my own company in tuning would be a little pointless otherwise but... I do like beer [emoji6]
  5. The one i can see is the pipe coming from the brake servo hose that goes down in between the manifold Head over to www.pimpmyskoda.co.uk Rob has some brilliant guides to do all the deletes and simplifications thats probably the easiest way to check I did Pete's (group1rs) old octavia couple weeks back for Rob the new owner, didn't even realise it was down on power till i pulled it all apart and found a few broken pipes completely different car after [emoji4]
  6. vac pipes, breather pipes evap pipes all pipes possible need to be checked especially at the age of these now they are all perishing and i bet this still has some of the original pipes on it, to be honest if it was mine i would strip it all apart and do the full simplifications (i can see one that is still there to be done ) and change every pipe just to have that peace of mind as if they aren't gone i wouldn't mind betting they will soon
  7. Been a while. update time? been a few changes since last time starting with a CV boot split then on with the new cooler and pipes the engine bay is sitting how i want it for now :peek: was really happy with how the car was for a while until it started throwing problems at me again like the window dropping whilst driving at 70mph! but onward and upward! next came some graphics as i have been working with Rob at W8 Performance carrying out Shark remaps as Rob is too busy with his normal job My Range Rover got the same treatment a bit of fun with some friends at brands hatch for the last show/track time of 2015 then just some pictures while i was out one night with a mate and his 280bhp fiesta the rear graphics are now off both cars awaiting my new company graphics still a lot more to be done (when are project cars ever finished?!) currently needs a new CV boot on the opposite side to the last one and looking into a fault that i think is an air leak on the intake (will be buying a pressure tester when i get round to it) but its winter so it can just sit in the corner till i can be bothered to sort it Will try to keep this a little bit more up to date and hopefully get to take it on track soon!
  8. they love a split hose on these 1.8t's especially if it hasn't had the N249 and SAI deleted and some of the simplifications done it would be more likely to be a split hose than DV
  9. i might even be up for this one, will let you know closer to the time if there is any spaces by then i will come along
  10. was the golf side skirts a straight fit or was there some work needed?

  15. so i had the map sent over to me by shark on Monday 29th, got it straight on gave it a bit of a drive on trade plates drove fine, waited till the 1st to get some tax on it, once taxed i took it home put a fair few miles on it so thought it was time to put my foot down at least once and damn it was slow as it was only mapped to run actuator pressure! so straight on the phone to shark to get myself booked in for proper custom mapping, got it booked for 8th, only realised over the weekend that it was due a cambelt in march so quickly put a cambelt on it Monday after work which turned into a total mission as i was way too tired and still aching from go karting the day before! Anyway today (8th) came around so i got up at 5am got myself ready and headed up to shark got there at 9:30, the car wouldn't fit on the rollers so i grabbed some tools and pulled the front bumper off, once it was on Ben played around with the map but was struggling a little only to realise the actuator wasn't properly set up, so he had to get that set up properly and then continued, at the end of the day Ben managed to get 244bhp and 375nm of torque, which was quite low, was suffering from quite a bit of heat soak and back pressure through the boost system. I knew the whole time i was sorting the turbo that at some point i will need to fit a bigger cooler and get rid of the pancake boost pipe after looking into it, it looks like this is causing all my problems, so Ben has set the car up all i need to do is sort the cooler and pipework when i can and he thinks it will automatically make another 40bhp and then i just need him to tweak it a little more. finally left Shark at 5:10 this evening and wow is all i can say... even though the car isn't making any more power really, it is a whole different car to drive! absolutely loved it! cannot wait to sort the cooler and pipes now!! Sorry for the long essay and no pictures! i do have a couple small videos but nothing amazing! and one picture below.. a picture to prove i was there
  16. sorry i didn't make it Rob, i did say i was only a maybe and notified you before you confirmed numbers with AMD that i would not make it onto the RR but may pop over to see everyone, the weather was terrible in the morning so i was not going to go there and just stand in the rain unfortunately. Getting the octy mapped in on Wednesday so hope you do another so i can see what the difference between Shark performances rollers and AMD are and will be happy to pay the deposit as im not normally one for dropping out
  17. Sounds like an awesome trip would love to do something similar one day! But the question i want to know the answer to is do you think you would of had a better trip in a R35 with more comforts or does the more fun side of the R32 over power the want for the creature comforts??
  18. so time for an update, turbo and manifold in while i was doing all this i got a little carried away and decided that it was time for a colour change under the bonnet left it with the manifold still red to begin with but as usual i had to wait for more parts so thought i might as paint that while i wait and also as i used a metalic black on the boost pipe and fuse box cover i needed to repaint the intake pipe and while i was doing this i thought i would try a bit of black on the injector rail all fitted and then my new 3" oversized turbo intake with correct turbo fitting arrived which was surprisingly easy to fit before anyone says its overfilled with coolant! it was fully drained and then only filled up before the picture and not been started yet! so now all im waiting on is the new map to be sent over to me from shark which will allow me to get round and put some miles on it before i take the trip up to shark to get it all mapped in properly
  19. im deffo not going to be taking part in the rolling road but i may pop over and say hello still
  20. I am skeptical if i will be ready to go on the rolling road, car is still not finished, once it is i will still need to run it in and then go up to Shark Performance to get it mapped properly, i probably will come over anyway just to say hi and all even if i cant get on the rollers!
  21. bolt came in today  got it fitted so now to get on with and get it done ready for some good weather
  22. I did think about grabbing a dye to re-tap it but i don't have an m10 dye :( if he hasn't ordered me one i will be getting the file out today i think lol
