As per title. How much roughly am I looking at for a new/recon turbo for a 2006 Fabia vRS?

Back in August my girlfriend of 2 years told me she needed some space, ok we'd been arguing a bit but nothing serious She has a weekend at her sisters and comes back on the Monday to tell me that it's over, she's been convincing herself for 7 months that I don't want to be with her and I was just waiting for her to end things We had to live together on and off for 2 months whilst she waited for her new place to be ready, and for the most part we got on fine. Ate together, did stuff with the kids, even still shared a bed for the first few weeks and were adamant we would remain friends once she'd moved out The week after she moves out she tells me not to speak too her, we can't be friends and she needs space. Ok fair enough. Gradually we start speaking again, I should mention that we met at work and still sit 20ft apart in the office The day she got the last of her stuff from my house, she told me she wanted nothing more to do with me, to never speak to her again and she should have trusted her gut instinct a long time ago about what sort of person I was, all because of some rumour she's heard about me kissing another girl at work....after we had separated, a girl she actually encouraged me to ask out A big part of our arguing was my depression and as soon as we split, I started getting help and I'm a lot better now. During the move I half furnished her new place and even helped her move but apparently I was 'nothing but horrible to her for those 2 months' Do I still have feelings for her? Yes Would I take her back if she asked me now? No chance. If a person cannot support you when you need it the most then they are not the right person for you. And if they believe rumours from someone they hate over you, then they are definitely not worth your time I'm not really sure why I've written all of this or whether it will help you at all, but I'd be really surprised if you manage to stay fiends. Fingers crossed for you if that's what you want though I just get to sit listening to her flirting with other guys in the office and laughing and joking all day long. On the plus side ice cream seems to be the new love of her life and she's put on at least 2 stone since august so she's helping me out a little at least

Fabia Mk2 vRS door cards and Mk1 vRS front and rear seats
OctaBen replied to OctaBen's topic in Parts For Sale
Safe to say there's no interest then? -
Managed to pick up a bargain mk2 interior on eBay and have no use for the door cards. They are all in good condition except for a slight scuff on the top of the drivers panel. No idea what these are worth or if there's any demand, so on the basis eBay seems to want £20 each, lets say £40 ono for the four Also have my old Fabia interior, rear seats don't look like they've been sat on, passenger is in great condition, drivers side bolster is ripped so will need repair. These will be available in a few weeks once I've stripped the heated seat elements out of them for my new seats. Again don't really know what they're worth so let's say £100 to start things off Based in Eastleigh near Southampton and items are collection only Thanks

Sorry if this is the wrong section but looking for recommendations as above Looking to get front grille and door handles sprayed on a mk1 Fabia. Will I need to remove handles? And is it an easy job? Thanks in advance

If your kids moan about walking to school....

Maybe it would be easier if the teachers travelled to the children rather than the other way around -
If your kids moan about walking to school....

Why don't they move the school? -
Tbh your title is about as vague as it could be as well, so most people won't even know what your posting about until they've opened it

I'm booked with them in May. I called and was told they would call me back, which they did within about 20 minutes. Availability to actually use the voucher was crap and have ended up paying £20 to 'upgrade' to a weekend and £35 excess waiver.....though he tried to sell me a £350 upgrade to their premium package which coincidentally I could do on any day I liked

No Claims bonus confusion (new driver)

Or get a new car now and change your current policy to the new car.....assuming your current insurers will cover it -
2005 Skoda Fabia VRS Black Only 80,780 miles only Private Reg
OctaBen replied to ROBBAT's topic in Cars For Sale
So you joined the site to buy a car then waited 4 months just to tell everyone you sold it on at a profit......thanks for popping in -
If it's on your terms, do you get to choose the next person she cheats with. She knows she's made a mistake, that doesn't mean she deserves forgiveness How will you feel next time she's out with a friend and doesn't come home or just 'needs some space for a few weeks'
-
She stayed out longer because she's pulled another guy, maybe the same one, and thought '**** it I'll go home with him tonight and then go back to Paul tomorrow' Cheating is one thing, but she doesn't give a **** about sorting it out. You're doing the right thing
-
Off to sleep?? So she's having a big night out and wants you to pick her up with food at 3am. Text back and say 'sorry, I'm off out with my mates, have a good evening, don't bother contacting me again'
-
No one is going hungry when they still have money to go out for drinks. She is taking the absolute ****, she ought to be buying you dinner and running you around I'm 33, married at 24, separated at 30, divorced at 32 and I'm happy than I've ever been with my girlfriend now. We've both had issues in the past and both know that any sort of cheating would be a straight forward end to the relationship. Stop letting her treat you like ****
-
I would guess the other guy has said 'I'm getting married, this wasn't supposed to be anything serious'. And she's thought, ok, I'll stick with my boyfriend until someone else comes along You will never trust her and tbh I don't think she deserves that trust either

Lady owned for the last 7 years and owned by current owner for less than 7 days

I have an eBay one and it's pretty crap. Can't put any weight on it as it only screws into the centre console, plus it flexes quite a bit, I wouldn't recommend it

The head gasket went on an old Rover I had. The recovery driver that got me home offered to take the car off my hands, I told him he was welcome to take it for nothing. All the same he found it was worth £60 scrap and gave me £60 All the way along he'd been telling me how he buys broken cars, fixes them and sells them on for a profit. So imagine my surprise when he turns up at my house 2 weeks later saying that the car had failed the MOT and it was going to cost him £600 to fix and could I make a contribution as I had 'sold' him the car so should take some responsibility He even brought along his kids, I assume in an attempt to make me feel bad. I managed to resist laughing at him but made it clear that he had no comeback on a private 'sale'. Beyond offering some sympathy I am not sure what you expect the previous owner to offer you?

Still worth buying the mk1 vrs in 2016?
OctaBen replied to BBiZ's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
I just paid half that for an 06 plate in black, one owner from new, full service history, heated seats and cruise control
