Received this today after A) mobile lost connection to my in car B)Skoda Connect profile - I'm now a guest in my car as my primary profile is offline C) Skoda app offline I've had enough, modern cars are moving to this operating live connected manner but they should as per other tech brands apple, Google, AWS etc have a cascade multiple server system Along with everything else I've lost all looks on this car, and have asked for a serious conversation with Skoda UK as to what next, a year of nothing but Pfaff, when I'm driving I want to focus on driving not all this rubbish

Hi, test drive today, interesting the tech guy ex Lexus so knew about how a car should be silent, he did a fab job very helpful but could not locate the sound as annoyingly it didn't show itself, have given up as other issues with car and Skoda, want to part ways

Just did a 100 miles run, it actually sounds like the rear drivers door is not latched, fingers crossed for Monday and the dealer check

Finally after a week got to chance to hand over electronically the payment to renew the Skoda Connect Skoda even said oh use android, I've paid good £ to have this system part of the build, still it's renewed no idea what was going on and worryingly neither it seems did Skoda UK or the Factory

Oh this car tries my patients, now I can't renew Skoda Connect no idea why (nor does Skoda all sorts of stories) but after a week of Skoda Customer Service still no joy and it has now expired I complete the online form but it sends £0.00 to bank that shock horror declines it

It's going to the dealer Monday, thanks for suggestions, have tried but no luck, to say the least this model launch is rubbish so many issues it's a laugh

UK 5 door sel hatch 1.5. Hi Any ideas, have emptied boot, Inc spare, locked seatbelts, still a rhythmic knocking, though it does go on smooth roads , so there most of the time , only stopping it is put hifi on its that noticeable, so any tips appreciated

Well my SEL 1.5 is a year old. A brand new built to order experience is 70% lovely, thing is the other 30% is a mess, infotainment system is dangerous, there should be a knob on the dash to control a lot of it eg music etc, we just got a k..b in design who loved their mobile so much they slapped it on the dash. Software updates either direct or via dealer just messes everything up (dealer is very friendly I've been there so often 2 wks with one software mess) Now rattles ) knocking from rear / drivers side dealer can't work out what they are. Then again today Skoda,s servers are down. I've been informed Skoda / VAG are moving to a fully built all extras design where you turn stuff on and off via a payment over the servers when you want that function, makes production sense except when the servers are so unreliable. Would I say buy one, if you can put up with the 30% annoyance !?

Hi, after many reboots at the dealer after 12 days car sat there to get the most recent 4 multiple item software recalls to actually load with support from Skoda UK & Factory. Today the joyless over thought infotainment system requested my S-PIN, this I entered only for it to be rejected, I then logged as requested in to Skoda Connect to reset only for the system to not allow this as yes youve guessed it I am already the primary (but locked out) user. I am also now locked out of the Skoda app. Got access to infotainment system now as a Guest, a Guest in my own car...what did Skoda (VAG) think when they thought up this infotainment system. Now awaiting reply from Skoda UK who are closed on weekends as we ain't supposed to use our cars on Saturday & Sunday.

My car spent 12 days after multiple software recalls, each recall was of multiple items No idea what went on, the Dealer & Skoda UK were excellent, but there is obviously an issue as to A) how the updates are sent from the factory & the install protocol C) maybe software/hardware clashes As this it should not take 12 days, or for multiple errors to be the outcome Amazing car, well built, but I really feel they over thought the infotainment system in what it does and how you use it, the AI is rubbish
