  1. I have a mk 4 skoda octavia brs 4x4 and it is 3 years old on daturday Never had no bother at all with it
  2. I have just taken extended warranty on my 2022 skoda vrs 4x4 octavia today.my warranty runs out on the 26 July. Only for peace of because you never know what van happen I paid £294 omo ot is worth as I said before peace of mind.
  3. Yes the car was in for service and I got a text that they could not find anything on there screen regarding haldex service.i agreed but I have no idea how they did it.the car service and haldex came to £401.00.
  4. No got no idea,they only said to pick the car up around 90 minutes then I was supposed to pick carvup from service.

  7. Yes I think they were trying it on but did not get very far .

I had my car In for service and was told my disc pads were down 90% a d discs were badly worn.got told price would be 546 pounds .I refused and I got a 2 new front discs and brake pads .when tbe lad came to do the job he showed me tbe d disk pads and said tbere was more than 30 % left on them and my discs were fine no damage at all.25000 miles on clock.so ot looks like my local skoda garage was trying to rip me off.

I took my skoda octavia vrs 4x4 estate 2922 car in for a oil service.i was told my front disc pads were down 90% and discs needed changing.the price was 545£ I refused.a fewcdays later it had to go back in for warranty work.i was told than my brake pads were down by 80% but no mention at all about discs.not bad going 90% brake pads and 1 day later 80% down did not disc pads could self heal.today had a guy out to do the work for me and he says the pads are only 70% worn ans says by a glance the discs look OK.is this a con game by the skoda garage?

I have a skoda octavia vrs rx4 estate car reg July 2022.everything has been fine but in the last few months my electric brake is not releasing.had to keep switching off and on then it works but in the last 2 days a have been stuck 3 times and it is taking a age before releasing.anyone out there had the sa.e problem

The longest run I did mine was 640 miles and had at least 1/4 of a tank left in when I finished the trip.mind you it was diesel but have had diesel cars before but this tbe best figures I have ever had off any my cars.am no slouch when it comes to driving.as I said before I have never had any problems.i have now got 25000 miles on the clock and the tyres are still in good 4mm on front and 5mm on the back.so no complaints there either.
  12. I got my mk4 vrs 4x4 in July 2022 new.had no problems at all with it apart from how hard it is to find out how to do things on the dash( not very good with the tech side)

I have had my octavia vrs 4x4 since new July 2022.i have had no bother with it, but in the last few weeks I have a problem not a tbe tome but it worries me.odd time the brake lock keeps on and will not let me go in forward or reverse.i have to switch engine off and on a few times. before the brakes release.as anyo e had this problem? Or does anyone know what my problem is ?? Thank you
