  1. Hi Scott, I've been running stage 2 on my vrs for 18months now, according to dyno 289bhp/330ftlb and it's still on standard clutch. I know I don't do big miles but does get driven enthusiastically and have done a couple of trackdays at Oulton Park. Car has done 68k.
  2. H&R -35mm on my 06 vrs, made a big difference, still a decent ride aswel and no issues on speed bumps.
  3. loved my stage 1 revo map, even better now that its stage 2. 2+ in the new year, be rude not to.
  4. Alright mate, nah, wouldn't have been me that...... stuck in work in warrington most days. I'll keep my eyes open for yours.
  5. Yeah mate, Garston...... Silver mk2 VRS. And I am a bit tight. Haha.
  6. I was there today on a msv day, had a laugh but Jesus, it was wet. Dried off about 3pm but it was a slow and steady pace all day. Didn't help that an MG Maestro dropped its oil on the 2nd sighting lap and proceeded to complete till the pits, you could see the racing line though. Hit and miss with the weather oct/nov but you can still make a day of it.
  7. Changed mine a few weeks ago, ended up snapping one of the pipes due to previous owner using superglue to secure the pipe to the filter. Cheers mate.
  8. I have looked at the Autotech kit for mine, when I get chance I will defo be fitting that. Garage where I go fitted 1 to an Ed30 a few weeks ago and it made a massive difference mid range. Depends what your budget is, I know it's a good piece of kit but the Loba pump just seems way too expensive.
  9. Probably a bit late now, but i fitted them to my mk1 octavia VRS when I had it, done a track day at Oulton Park and they just took it all day. Still fitted to the car now 2 years later which I gave to my sister and they still feel great.
  10. Yeah..... My vrs does this too, I just tell people it's a borrower in the dash trying to get out. Tend to zone it out now.
  11. Don't know how much to fit on the mk2 but I priced it at Alex lawrie skoda in Liverpool when I had my mk1 vrs and they wanted £120 all in. Didn't think that was too bad.
  12. I use riverside-racing in Liverpool, not far from the airport. Good bunch of lads.
  13. My mk1 vrs with a more-bhp stage1 map made 213bhp (more-bhp told me it should make between 210-215bhp) on an independent dyno, and when I went to stage2, revo software, milltek turbo back system and Forge induction kit, sadly standard intercooler it done 223bhp/240lbft before heat soak did get the better of it though.
  14. Riverside racing in Liverpool are a good bunch of lads, looked after my 06 VRS for the last 18months and my 1.8T VRS for 2 years before that. Can't fault them and they are also revo dealer and sorted me out for stage 2 on both cars.
