HI, I have VRS 54 plate, same fault with power steering on cold start, but i also have an issue with the battery going flat after 10 hrs of non use etc, BUT BATTERY IS 100% fine and checked! I also have the engine management light on too. I checked with skoda and they said there is a common fault with these vrs, and it is a broken wire from the alternator to the loom. The prob is I have no idea where to start. Just wondering if you managed to get anywhere with your problem. Ta Graham
