    Diesel

Some super markets get cheap fuel from abroad that needs additives to work in our vehicle over here , the results are less MPG than other suppliers .

    Should I buy

Thanks very much everyone for your advice I have decided to go for the demo model & have also asked for them to do the protective film mentioned in another thread here . It should be ready for collection on the 1st March
  4. For some reason my eyes are draw to the elements in heated screens , Ive got a friend with a Discovery 3 & another with a Fiesta who both have heated screens & I seem to spend my time as a passenger , in a trance looking at the wavey lines . I will stick with a screen cover in the winter

    Should I buy

Thanks for the responces & Its good to find someone in the same boat Im on my third Freelander now & if the running costs weren't so crazy , I would have another one .I used to do lots of off road driving with my first one & see that it will be intresting getting decent AT's for the Yeti . I don't do much off road driving now ( occational byways ) but still want to be able to get about in the snow & ice . Does it work the same as a Freelander but just without having the hill decent control ? Im in Surrey

    Should I buy

Ive been looking at buying a new Yeti & been looking for a 2.0 diesel 4x4 version , with the wait quoted 20 weeks for manual & 30 weeks for the auto box . The dealer offered me the yeti I test drove , which is a 2.0 TDI CR [140] SE 4x4 5dr DSG for under 20k . Its a standard SE & the only options I was looking at adding was the :- Hill hold Off road button Rough road package I was looking at getting the manul , but the auto is only £25 a year more on the tax & 4 mpg less on fuel The pros are that this vehice will be avalable in March & that means I don't have to have my current vehicle taxed & Mot'd plus they will hold the part ex price on mine . but is the standard SE any good without these options ? Ive had Landrovers for over ten years now , so want some thing that can handle mud & snow ( tyres will be replaced ) My other option is buying nearly new & finding one with these options, but the prices are often more than buying new Any advice appreciated
