  1. With regard to P2103, try to disconnect cable from throttle body and check the error in vag. In my case, after disconnecting mentioned part, I got the same error stating that signal is too low ( previously too high ). Concerning dpf related issues, have a look in here http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/210200-dpf-issue-octavia-20-tdi-vrs-33k-2009/
  2. Hi Coming back to ' 008451 - Throttle Valve Actuator Module (J338): Motor Circuit: Signal High ' I have replaced throttle body which fixed the issue. In addition to that, I have asked to clean EGR ( just in case ). Car is running again, issue sorted Note, after replacing throttle body, throttle adaptation is required so make sure it's done before you leave the garage.
  3. havent yet, but I will. I'm told that problem is very likely throttle related which is giving troubles on 2.0 diesels. part ordered so let see if it helps to clear the fault.
  4. Hi I have Skoda Octavia II vRS 2.0 TDI 170KM ( 2009 ) so wonder if anyone came across below error code ( erasing code didnt help, it keeps coming back ... )? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! 008451 - Throttle Valve Actuator Module (J338): Motor Circuit: Signal High P2103 - 000 - - - Intermittent Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00100000 Fault Priority: 2 Fault Frequency: 2 Mileage: 50816 km Time Indication: 0 Date: 2000.00.00 Time: 14:20:18 Freeze Frame: RPM: 782 /min Speed: 0.0 km/h Load: 0.0 % Load: 100.0 % Lambda: 100.2 % Mass Air / Rev.: 455.0 mg/str Temperature: 76.5°C
  5. I believe this should be considered as a recall, a lot of stories about this issue: http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/207611-dpf-exhaust-system-bulb-lights-are-lit/page__p__2455469__hl__dpf__fromsearch__1#entry2455469 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/210097-dpf-regeneration/page__gopid__2488344#entry2488344 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/208472-broken-down-dpf-fault/page__p__2464031__hl__dpf__fromsearch__1#entry2464031 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/138489-part-number-please-anyone/page__p__1736446__hl__03g906051a+__fromsearch__1#entry1736446 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/196807-diesel-particulate-engine-fault/page__p__2339018__hl__03g906051a+__fromsearch__1#entry2339018 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/172798-dpf-forced-regen-no-warning-light/page__p__2482271__hl__dpf__fromsearch__1#entry2482271 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/132859-help-my-epc-emissions-or-cel-check-engine-lamp-is-on/page__p__2477081__hl__dpf__fromsearch__1#entry2477081 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/210200-dpf-issue-octavia-20-tdi-vrs-33k-2009/page__gopid__2488386#entry2488386
  6. I believe issue with exhaust pressure sensor should be considered as a recall, a lot of stories about this issue, most collected below: http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/207611-dpf-exhaust-system-bulb-lights-are-lit/page__p__2455469__hl__dpf__fromsearch__1#entry2455469 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/210097-dpf-regeneration/page__gopid__2488344#entry2488344 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/208472-broken-down-dpf-fault/page__p__2464031__hl__dpf__fromsearch__1#entry2464031 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/138489-part-number-please-anyone/page__p__1736446__hl__03g906051a+__fromsearch__1#entry1736446 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/196807-diesel-particulate-engine-fault/page__p__2339018__hl__03g906051a+__fromsearch__1#entry2339018 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/172798-dpf-forced-regen-no-warning-light/page__p__2482271__hl__dpf__fromsearch__1#entry2482271 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/132859-help-my-epc-emissions-or-cel-check-engine-lamp-is-on/page__p__2477081__hl__dpf__fromsearch__1#entry2477081 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/210200-dpf-issue-octavia-20-tdi-vrs-33k-2009/page__gopid__2488386#entry2488386 How could we persuade Skoda to recall this particular fault?
  7. I would advise you to check exhaust pressure sensor ( part number 03G906051A - superceeded by the newer revised part number 076906051A ) as it's causing a lot of troubles... and just one more hint for all those who wonder why fuel consumption on idle is sometimes increased... answer is simple, DPF regeneration initiated by ECU ! if you notice it, just go for a spin for couple of minutes to make sure dpf is regenerated properly
  8. Problem resolved!!! Thanks to Joe Power, replacement of exhaust pressure sensor ( 1K0131552F ) resolved the issue. Folks, many thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Happy bunny again... :p
  9. actually I'm a bit confused as to what to order. I was told by Joe Power to order 1K0131552F ( it suppose to include pressure sensor + 2xhoses and metal arm ) or should I go for pressure sensor only - that is 03G906051A ?
  10. seem like the exhaust pressure sensor is faulty ( 03G906051A ~ 70E ) and I was advised to replace it. Apparently it's a common issue with all cars from VW group... I hope it will fix the issue. Will give you update once done. *** Gents, Many thanks for your help so far! ***
  11. they did scan it and confirmed regeneration is not possible and sensor is ok but, that's what I managed to get from their report: Fault in Mass Air Flow ( MAF ) sensor -G70 ? Current soot load ( calculated ): 30,6 g Current soot load ( measured ): 46,2 g Caution Regeneration must not be performed! RISK OF FIRE! -Replace the particulate filter ( see Repair Manual ) -After replacing perform the function Adapt adaptation values for the particulate filter ( test plan) End of test!
  12. Hi I have exactly the same issue as described in here http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/172798-dpf-forced-regen-no-warning-light/page__gopid__2482271#entry2482271 I'd never seen any DPF light on until today however along with DPF light, Glow Plug System and Control system for exhaust lights went on as well. I drove immediately to Skoda garage ( limp mode ) asking to check the fault and I was told that due to my driving style and not allowing DPF reg., filter got damaged and replacement is required ( roughly 2000E… ). Unfortunately car is out of warranty ( expired in March 11), but was told that even if car was still under, warranty wouldn't cover DPF replacement...This is just ridiculous as I was never pre-warned that DPF regeneration is required as light has never come on. I would appreciate if someone confirmed whether it's possible to check how often ( or if ever ) DPF light was on in the past. Any other ideas would be much appreciated! All I want is to prove to Skoda that I’m bloody telling the truth . I wrote complaint to Skoda Customer Service, if they wont acknowledge manufacturer fault, I think I'll raise matter with relevant authorities as I’m not willing to pay 2000E for something that was not my fault. I wonder if anyone in Ireland has had the same issue and wondered to file a lawsuit? Any help would be much appreciated!

  14. replacing air compressor did resolve the problem in case anyone has similar issue please urge to have belt taken off from the air compressor and check if friction sound still appear, if not replace the part.
