  1. My rev on neutral are about 700. When regen is on its about 1000. So if you see that your rev are 1000 you can wait on parked with engine running untill the cycle is finished then it drops to 700. I`m using a cheap (about 13 quid on amazon) OBD scanner with dpf filter app to see the level of ash and time before regen and when regen startet to let car finish the cycle. Also noticed if you while parked press accelerator to 1500 revs the ash clears much faster.
  2. Thanks for your comment. It actually feels like there is like ON/OFF push switch which feels odd rather than just sounding strange. I will have a look at the connector you suggested and will test with engine on or off. Thank you once again for your input!
  3. The problem is that I bought it in doncaster but live in Liverpool can i use the local dealer to claim the warranty repair? Skoda uk said that i can use it anywhere just worried that will start arsing about that i havent bpught it from them.. never used warranty before thats why i was asking
  4. Hi I have bought a Superb 60reg its only done 58k miles and it came with a aprooved used warranty. Few days after picking it up from the dealer it developed a clicking sound everytime you press and release the clutch. It doesnt sound normal and searching on Briskoda forums it seema that it could be Clutch master valve. The question is. Is it covered by warranty before i go there and they will fob me off? Regards
  5. Hi I own a Skoda fabia 1.2 petrol 2007 with about 90k miles on the clock and thinking on moving to something bigger as we travel quite a bit and roof box is not enought. My options are eather the octavia estate with 80k on the clock or suberb hatch/estate but bigger miles. Since fabia is the onyl car I owned and apart from wear and tear we had no big problems what do I need to worry about buying any of these considering they have full service history. Any advice would be greatly appriciated. My budges is not very big about 6k is it doable or I'm thinking to much? Regards
  6. Thank you very much for your replies! I`m planing to spend about 7.5k + my car as part exchange or might sell to car buying companies. I do understand about wear and tear but I had my car for 5 years its 07 reg with 65k miles and to me inside its very good. I`m happy to accept that the car will be worn just cannot resist the look and feel of superb elegance Do you think the fact that new model is comming out this summer would it affect used market of previous model?
  7. Hi Briskoda members. I would like to ask an advice regarding buying Skoda Superb I currently have Fabia 1.2 Ambient and after I have seen Superb inside I absolutely loved it. Now as I dont change cars as often I`m thinking to get 2.0 CR 140 Elegance manual 90-100k miles one which should last me for about 8 years. I have read a lot on this forum that at around 100k mileage you need to replace the water pump and cambelt plus full service history is a must. I know many people around me who had cars over 100k miles with no problem (actually I know one with 1.4 TDi Roomster who done 350k with no problem) But everywhere I look I see cars getting sold mostly around 100k miles? Is this where the problems starts with this car/engine? or are the people just selling them because the value drops so much? Regards
  8. Thank you very much for the advice! Will look at it tonight!
  9. Hello I have 07 Reg Skoda Fabia petrol mk1 with 55k Miles on the clock In last 6 months I have noticed that I`m loosing coolant from mid mark to min level after about 2-3k miles. I had this car since 25k miles and it has been serviced at the correct times in Skoda and VAG dealers. Any suggestions do I need to worry about it? Regards Dema
  10. Took the MAP out (once I had found it!) He said that he took it but doesn't say where it is located...
  11. Hmm it makes a lot of concern to me as it doest matter how good I drive (in town the most I can get out of me car is 35-38MPG) in motorway the most I got out was 50 but it was almost downhill driving 60mph. How to approach dealer about it? Or just do it yourself and see if it works.
  12. Thank you very much for all the reply`s! Will try to contact my local skoda if no will contact national car hire.
