  6. well im dead happy with my 2.0 TDI CR 140 4x4, its my 2nd 4x4 and the new fl 140cr is so much better than my 105pd.
  7. im pretty sure you will have to cut it for any towbar but its only the very edge - its not a visible cut as its so far under the rear of the car
  8. just had a fixed towbar and single electrics fitted(including bumper protector) for £201,i do lots of towing and havent got parking sensors on my octy 4x4, a mate of mine had a octy elegance 06 reg and had a fixed one on that (no bumper protector, had no issues with parking sensors.
  9. the most expensive options will give you active esp aon the trailer and bulb failure warnings etc, i have a fixed towbar i use regularly with a box trailer and went for the cheepest option - it works fine.
  10. which of the above boot liners have holes for the lashing loops to come through or is it a matter of cut to fit? i need the protection but need to hold stuff down in my 4x4.
  11. at the moment it wont even do that, i cant select the aux option on the stereo.
  12. can anyone let me know if their nokia phone plays music via the aux socket, i have a nokia N8 phone but my bolero radio doesnt seem to recognise when its plugged in via aux cable.

  14. Just picked up my new 11 plate octy 4x4 from Arbury, lots of the staff have changed since i ordered my car in December but the staff were friendly and efficient, Service dept has been good for me over the last few years.

  16. well ive finally got it, just 5 months of waiting, but good things come to those who wait they say, my octy 4x4 2.0ltr 140bhp is finally on the drive.
  17. i heard my new 4x4 octavia was at the docks (germany) yesterday and the dealer is hopefull it will be here by the weekend - and yes im just a little excited, oh by the way it was ordered Dec 20th.
  18. the boot trim just pulls off, i managed to prise it off with a screwdriver, i didnt manage to remove my rear wiper as i couldnt detach the spindle through the rear window, hope you have better luck.
  19. Ordered my 4x4 mid December, had been told build at end of May for delivery in June but confirmed Build for April now.
  20. Just had the call from dealer confirming my octavia 4x4 140bhp diesel is coming a month earlier than expected. im pretty happy with that
  21. i had to have one of mine replaced at about 90000 and it was well n truly shot when it got changed
  22. Can anyone give me any advice on where the ariel cable travels once it leaves the back of the stereo head unit, does it have any joints/connections before it gets to the roof. im assuming a break in it somewhere is the cause of my intermittent FM reception. octavia 2 4x4 estate
