Should the next vRS mk IV be 4x4?
codders replied to Vrs Shark!'s topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
well im dead happy with my 2.0 TDI CR 140 4x4, its my 2nd 4x4 and the new fl 140cr is so much better than my 105pd. -
im pretty sure you will have to cut it for any towbar but its only the very edge - its not a visible cut as its so far under the rear of the car

codders replied to roundthebend's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
just had a fixed towbar and single electrics fitted(including bumper protector) for £201,i do lots of towing and havent got parking sensors on my octy 4x4, a mate of mine had a octy elegance 06 reg and had a fixed one on that (no bumper protector, had no issues with parking sensors. -
the most expensive options will give you active esp aon the trailer and bulb failure warnings etc, i have a fixed towbar i use regularly with a box trailer and went for the cheepest option - it works fine.

which of the above boot liners have holes for the lashing loops to come through or is it a matter of cut to fit? i need the protection but need to hold stuff down in my 4x4.

Can anyone give me any advice on where the ariel cable travels once it leaves the back of the stereo head unit, does it have any joints/connections before it gets to the roof. im assuming a break in it somewhere is the cause of my intermittent FM reception. octavia 2 4x4 estate
