  1. One Pair at 7mm and second pair at 4 and a half mm 205/40 R17 84 V Have lived in the shed since they came off the car so not exposed to sunlight. Idealy collected from edinburgh area. Looking for £150 for all four, but open to offers
  2. Another option that may help is to mod the front grill to free up air into the intake below the slam pannel I did this to mine it only took about 10-20 mins and was completely unnoticeable. Mine with the baffles removed http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/203496-monte-carlo-grill-mod-fitted/?p=2976149 Standard with Baffles http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/203496-monte-carlo-grill-mod-fitted/?p=3748660
  3. While I don't have figure to back this up I find modern cars are much more fuel sensitive due to the fiddling that has/is been done to comply with ever more obtuse EU emissions regulations. Also why would it be less of an issue on a new engine than an older engine. Due to the engine operating tighter tolerances any build up would be more of an issue not less.
  4. If we are going to go highway code about this Many of the rules in The Highway Code are legal requirements, and if you disobey these rules you are committing a criminal offence. You may be fined, given penalty points on your licence or be disqualified from driving. In the most serious cases you may be sent to prison. Such rules are identified by the use of the words ‘MUST/MUST NOT’. In addition, the rule includes an abbreviated reference to the legislation which creates the offence. See an explanation of the abbreviations. Although failure to comply with the other rules of The Highway Code will not, in itself, cause a person to be prosecuted, The Highway Code may be used in evidence in any court proceedings under the Traffic Acts (see The road user and the law) to establish liability. This includes rules which use advisory wording such as ‘should/should not’ or ‘do/do not’. https://www.gov.uk/rules-for-cyclists-59-to-82 Also If you don't want to take simple steps to protect yourself, maybe we need to legislate for darwinism if you want to be a dumb ass you do so at your own liability.
  5. The internet where what you say will be used against you by a bunch of self righteous god complex self deceiving supposed angles. To err is human, people get angry and will seek revenge against what they perceive as wrongs committed against them. Actually following through on sentiments expressed in anger is rare. Also posting you intend to harm or kill someone for something they said on the Internet does exactly inspire confidence in their ability to function outside the secure mental health facility they should be detained within. Internet warriors at the ready all hail the knee jerk over reaction and inquisition. We shall make you repent for actions suggested by all means necessary to appease the baying mob.
  6. Most Sam systems dont actually create large fireballs they only cause fragmentation damage to the airframe which causes the engines of the target to be damaged or damages enough of the structure to cause the target to suffer structural failure. Also ccomercial airliners and military transport aircraft look very similar on radar until you start doing some advanced things. P.S. the damaged tail section is consistent with the damage you would expect from a proximity detention from a chase shot missile.
  7. Leaving aside the ridiculous reversing which is clearly not right. I think Richard made a good point once you start calling people names/gesturing you have made it personal. Personal conflict is unpredictable and regardless of driving standard or lack of you have verbally assaulted someone which is an offence in its own right. Two wrongs don't make a right, or in this case two dickheads don't make a saint. Also side note I'm guessing that the forward facing camera is attached to his helmet so they are both guilty of without due care and attention.
  8. Can you enlighten us to what other submarines your talking about as even the royal navy doesn't know its got non nuclear subs. Trfalgar and Astute SSN's and Vangard SSBN's are all nuclear. Also the movement of the SSBN's is timescaled for 5-10 years more likely you'd end up having to base the vangards out of naval submarine base kings bay Georgia america Tornado's are scheduled for retirement in the next 5-10 years if the last SDSR is to be believed. Politicians lie and won't let facts get in the way of making a point, and Samand is as guilty of this as the londoners, we'll joint nato a nuclear umbrela organisations and ensure that it has one less member with nuclear weapons to make sure they let us join. Yes because thats the way thats realy going to go.
  9. Honestly they are the prime example of why politicians should be barred from being involved in any military procurement matters 1 humongous public and comercial relations disaster 2 strategic defence & secutrity reviews 3 Qwango studies 4 contract renegotiations HMS Sunk by Poltical Ineptitude HMS Drowned by Qwango HMS London Knows Best HMS Why didn't you just Foff and leave it to the professionals
  10. I'm guessing here but as he said its out of his phone I'm guessing its a micro SD card. Which contains a very small amount of metal, a good enough metal detector could find one with enough time and the sensativity maxed out but your hunting for something 1 cm by 1.5 cm which is mostly plastic and semiconductor. Your more likly to find it by finger tip searching than hunting for it with a metal detector. I'd question if it was worth the effort to be frank.
  11. Possibly but your talking about a tiny amount of metal.
