Im looking for information on the colour coding of the multi pin connectors on the instrument display assembly of my octavia pd130.In particular,the speed signal wire to the speedometer. Thanks in advance Jon :confused:

get the car on a ramp then insert some rubber strips (old cambelt is ideal!) in the gap at the bottom of the radiator surround.Fixed mine last week! Let me know how you get on.Also check that there is no contact between the radiator surround and the drain valve for the air-con bottom lh corner of the rad. surround.

Will it fit/be adaptable for a TDi?

What is the correct number of fixings for the rear brace inside the boot of an octavia Rs hatch?I seem to have one missing each side.Is this correct? Cheers for any info.

The whole car is full of squeaks and rattles and yes my drivers window rattle when half open too! The most annoying rattle is the knob on the handbrake. Its worse if you modify the suspension in any way like i have.

:confused: Has anyone considered replacing the foglights of their octavia with a high beam only type unit to give even more light on high beam? I already have uprated bulbs and dont want to fit additional "spots".(i need more distance) Any ideas? Does anyone know of a vehicle that uses the same size projector lens as the octavia foglight in high beam configuration?

I want to be able to left foot brake.Is there a way to disable the way that the power is cut when you touch the brake pedal? Its a 2003 octavia PD130 btw.

I lightly scuffed a wheel rim (17"rs silver)yesterday,does anyone have any experience with a cosmetic repair job?

mine's a black magic on 17 rs wheels,jabbad pd130/196 and 304 lb/ft of torque they call me the devil's coachman down here!soon to have brembo big brakes and eibach suspension...

Does anyone know where i can get decent quality seat covers that fit octavia f+r seats properly? Cheers, Jon
